Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart and University of Southern California basketball player Brynn Cameron are expecting a baby in the fall, PEOPLE has learned.
Leinart, 23, one of PEOPLE's 2006 Most Beautiful People, graduated from USC in December 2005 and lives in Los Angeles and Arizona.
Cameron, a 20-year-old USC junior, will sit out the upcoming basketball season.
"It's an exciting time in their life," says a source who knows both athletes. "They both have support from their families."

Except...I think this guy is going to crash. Remember that other famed usc qback Marijuanavich?...
I remember another one named Carson something or other...I think Lienart will be a good QB. He could be great with his WR corps in Zona. We'll see--it's way too early to tell. I hope he does the right thing with this situation.

I'd have to think not, because it's not as if she suddenly discovered that she's going to have a baby in the next three months. So he has to have known for quite awhile as well.

yeah...
oh well...
his and her life, not mine.

Of course, if you really believed that, you wouldn't have written your post, would you?

Exactly. He looks more like just a sperm donor to me.

Matt is becoming more and more skeevy with each passing day.
What did you expect? It's not like the guy was a quarterback for Notre Dame.

Yeah, the new baby is a winning lottery ticket, so long as Matt doesn't go broke after two years in the league.

Translation - As long as he comes through with child support, he can screw all the starlets and heiresses he wants.
Having a celebrity's bastard pays a lot better than being a shooting guard with bad hips in the WNBA. There is a word for that kind of woman, but it isn't ditz.

Someone should do a study of the net worth in terms of child support of babies that are born vs those who are aborted. Brutal, yes...but it might shed some light on things.

Todd's main problem was he didn't eat meat or junk food so he was never able to satisfy the munchies he got from smoking all that weed.

Ryan Leaf is the new quarterbacks coach at West Texas A&M as a volunteer. No paycheck.
Perhaps he's learned humility.

How does shaming them add any benefit to this situation? Why, the prospect of God smiting their enemies makes the Old Testament Retributionists on FR feel much better. ;)

Okay, you tease: what IS Leaf up to, then? :-)
The last I heard, he was busted or drugged down in Mexico while holed up with a highly expensive woman in a highly expensive hotel.
But what do I know.
Yes, my point was that he flunked out of football even though he had tremendous football skills. His immaturity, lack of discipline, inability to learn from criticism, etc. made him, in fact, a much worse player than a person with fewer or lesser skills but higher character.
So, diga mi: did the kid salvage his life somewhat after all? I hope so.

I don't know where you heard that he was drugged up in Mexico....
Wikipedia entry for Leaf
That entry is pretty much right on for what I know. He's trying to make it either as an agent or some type of player rep last I had heard.
He had plenty of physical skills, but he couldn't make that mental jump to the NFL game. Heath Shuler was another who couldn't do it.

To: MikefromOhio
And now Shuler's running for Congress as a Dem.
