The UK has density of population and older homes that were built to be stable. Ameica has many areas where just throwing some boards up constitutes a house. We are getting better but we still have areas that need replacing and repair. No excuses, just the way it is.

Democrats rely on people not paying attention. They cannot win with their goofy ideas so they are forced to invent problems or complaints as reasons to support them. All the hand wringing today makes me believe the GOP will do better in November than the press/media/polls/focus groups would have us believe.

Once people start thinking logically about Iraq, the war on terro, all the hurricanes, et al, voters will remember how is really at fault, and it's not us.

The hezzies did such a good job getting our media to portray them as "terrorist heroes" that it's catching on! Now the Syrians want their own hezbollah!
Seems Syria is forming it's own Hezbollah according to Aaron Klein at World Net Daily.
Klein goes on to say that,"Syria learned that fightitng is more effective than peace negotiating...."Future generations in the Arab world will find a way to defeat Israel", said Syrian President Halfassed Assad in a recent televised address.
Syria's version of the hezzies will be called the "front for the liberation of the Golan..it basically consists of hundreds of Syrian "volunteers."

Evidently, there is more going on in Iraq than we hear about sleuth.
If Iraq didn't already have enough on it's plate, catch this one!
The Kurds are being driven out again--this time by Iran! Its' a secret war in Iraqis Kurdistan Kandil mountain range. Iran is bombing villages to expel Kurds reportedly who have created a mini-state. Iran reportedly wants to curry favor with Turkey.

#90, welcome back,and you are exactly right Clinton fired all the US Attorneys in office,even Dems, they wanted total loyalty. Janet Reno was put in place to head the Justice Dept because they knew she had a lot of Corrupt baggage from Dade County,and they could handle her for the most part. To insure the handling of Reno, he installed Webb Hubble in as the Number two person at Justice,and he was in effect running the show. Hubble got into deep doodoo and then they had Eric Holder installed to watch her every move. They had Jamie Gorelick doing most of the behind the scenes and Holder in front of the Cameras with Reno. Reno was only a figurehead that most people felt sorry for because of the Parkinson's Disease,and they used that sympathy to cover up a lot of things. Holder left,and Gorelick was able to move up,and create the havoc which ended up allowing 9-11 to happen....I am sure that there are some of those holdovers still there in Justice that have yet to be weeded out. I believe that is a slow but sure process. Stay tuned.....
