It's an insidiously deadly world out there, isn't it?

Far more than any of us know.

Yet another emerging threat is billionaire commies intent on destroying our way of life such as George Soros.

Front Page Mag. ask the question as well. "Has the democrat party become a cult? Is George Soros their Guru," and of course the piece evolves into the typical rat spin of GW Has he created terrorists?

We are up against a formidable enemy who knows how to use and manipulate the press.

Anyway it's worth a read. You will find it at:

I definitely think you have something here, the only time I can think of myself doing it is when I am cold and I suppose in a very small way that is a form of stress.

Before Centanni was released our Michell Malkin had a few choice words to say about how the entire thing has been covered by the msm/dbm.
"Centanni is not just a fellow Journalist. He is a fellow American. He is missing and there should be a hell of a lot more outrage about it..she was right.
You can find it here"

First, I FReepmailed you the recipe I am using today.

Second, now that I am aware of your culinary creativity, will you marry me?

"And remember, Robert Novak isn't a conservative"

Novak is a Democrat who worked for Kerry in his last campaign
AND outed Palme and did other 'dirty tricks' for said campaign.
Novak's daughter was one of Kerry's speech writers.

Yup. Novak is a fair, balanced, and conservative.. [/sarcasm]

Thanks, Rod. It almost seemed like an thin, evil tv drama, that was orchestrated from the beginning by the monsters, probably designed to culminate just the way it did today, with a documented terrorist organization getting praise and receiving false standing.

I read last night that the tribal leaders in Iraq had a meeting and decided that it is imperative that they do more to fight the terrorists...

And, the American and Iraqi troops have been making good progress in Baghdad...

Wolf Blitzer is supposed to have al-Maliki on his show today...I have a feeling Wolfie will NOT be referencing those two news items...and will instead concentrate on all of the "violence".

News Media Business also has strategies to stir the pot.
They are in bed with Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi.
They are looking for the big bucks the candidates must pay for commercials on t.v. And probably more Democrats watch their bias shows than Republicans. They know who watches and they will say what their customers want to hear. There is more money when they carry water for Democrats than saying something positive about a Republican. The strategy is to go negative about Republicans, knowing they will buy more ads to counter the bias attacks.

Top round I assume is what I call topside.

I'd not heard the term topside, but found a web page that says that topside and top round are the same thing (so is silverside).  It's the top muscle in the rump roast, with the eye round and the bottom round being the other two.

Are flank and rump the same thing?

Flank steak is from the belly muscles, which is what gives it the long fibers (the things you have to cut across, not with, to get it tender to chew).

'Then he comes into office, and by "he" I mean Bush's admin, including Cheney, Condi, Rumsfeld...the major players. And just when he's getting everything sorted out and all the damage cleaned up at the White House, boom, 9-11 happens.'

Add to that - China and the 'spy' plane.

Well, switching around the talk shows today, I got the very end of MTP where Russert asked Novak about the Isikoff story regarding Armitage as the leaker. Novak still refused to confirm or deny, but he did say It is high time, past time, for my source to reveal himself...or something like that. I agree, Armitage/Powell have let this story go too long, allowed Libby to suffer, and have shown a lack of integrity and honesty regarding the Plame Game. Fitzy should immediately drop all charges against Libby, issue an apology, and all of Libby's legal expenses should be reimbursed.

Conflict is good for the media. They know most of their viewers are programmed Democrats who eat the negative spin right up, especially when it is a hate Bush menu. Hate Bush on Iraq is the special on Sunday!

#81, I thought that Nagin handled Russert today, and Timmah looks fatter and a little subdued this week. Russert tried to get Nagin to trash GWB,but failed because Nagin is a Political Prostitute and quite the Con artist. He made it clear that he wanted the money to come directly to New Orleans not have to go through Blanco and the State. what he said was very anti Blanco IMHO because he said that lots of money has been sent to the state but has yet to get to N.O. Nagin is real slick, kinda reminds me of Jefferson D-LA. He made Russert look so bad by Timmah over blowing his "hole in the Ground" reference. Russert sounded like he could have been wearing a Dress, and Pumps he was so feminine sounding, whining and whimpering begging Nagin to feel sorry and throw himself on the mercy of the 9-11 families. Russert was so pathetic and painful to watch, I almost wish he was in his full mode of Bush/GOP hatred. He looked like he had suddenly become Jewish or Italian because he was not leaning and lurching, hunching up, he had to do something so he had these weird ethnic look hand gestures. Yuk!

Okay..no one else reported on it...so I guess I was the only one to watch Mary Landrieu with George Stephy this morning...

Blech---They were walking down a street in New Orleans...and she was explaining why they have been so "let down" by the federal government.

Although she had to acknowledge that a LOT of money had been "given" to Louisiana..(due to her begging and crying)...she complained that it didn't come to the locals directly....LOL (There are times that the Feds do somethings right, IMHO, and NOT sending big money directly to the corrupt leadership in Louisiana is one of those times)...

George pointed out that the Mississippi government haven't been complaining..and they are moving right along..

She said that they were no where close to being as damaged as New Orleans.

One thing here...neither SHE nor Nagin would admit that it probably is NOT a good idea for New Orleans to rebuild in certain areas of their city....

Landrieu is still upset that the Army Corps of Engineers still haven't built the levees to CAT 5 capabilites..darn them!

Well...ya'll get the drift, I am sure....enough is enough.

Agreed, and this has been going on since 1999. The left, Democrats, cannot handle success or good things happening. Nor can the press. They thrive on problems and bad things happening. This irrational hatred of President Bush has been backfiring on them and I just hope it keeps up.

Absolutely correct TexasPatriot8!

The sad thing that is never brought up in the msm/dbm that is so on the minds of many of us who live in hurricane alley is that coastal residents are always in harms way of mother nature.

Those who have gotten by in shabby housing for years and think that their number will never come up are mistaken! What happened in NO was nothing more than a wake-up call for those who continue to live in substandard housing in areas where hurricanes are prevalent.(Too bad the alarm is still going off and no one has heard it yet up there)

Seven years ago our house burned down. We lost everything. It took forever to rebuild. And when we did finally get it rebuilt it was done to S.Fla building code specs.(the only thing ever done right in S.Fla. was a stiff building code)Our home and most others down here are built to withstand high winds, waves, water, flooding etc.

It's only common sense.

And if we wanted insurance and a bank loan, (it's all tied together to protect the banks, from never having to say they were sorry),we had to build to code.

So now as the next storm heads our way we are relatively sure that (other than a tornado) we can get through.

Was it easy, cheap, hardly, but that is the price you pay for living anywhere near the coast.

Problem is in NO and much of La. they do not want to pay the price, they want us to.

If we lose in Iraq

The vast majority of international media providers have already decided the US has lost in Iraq. There isn't even any debate about it in European capitols. We have to stop that nonsense from spreading at home.

#82, you are sure right on about that. Anyone that lives in any possible Hurricane target is drilled every year from June through November what to do if a Hurricane is coming or Possibly coming. I moved to Florida in 1968,and used to hear Ralph Renick,Walter Cronise,Bob Weaver, plus all the Hurricane Center people tell us exactly what to do. You have to be stuck on stupid not to pick up on this info,it goes into your brain even if you are only half paying attention. Some people just want someone else to handle their lives for them, I am surprised they wipe their own noses.
