2. Pujols is certainly an exciting player, but not even his two-homer, seven-RBI performance in Tuesday night's game against the Mets could hold the attention of every fan. Former President Bill Clinton caught the game at Shea Stadium, and a camera caught him snoozing during the eighth inning with the Cardinals clinging to a 7-6 lead. Fortunately, Clinton rose to the occasion for Carlos Beltran's game-winning two-run homer in the ninth, waking in time to high-five fans sitting around him. Indeed, Shea Stadium in this turnaround season has certainly resembled a place called Hope.

Of course, NO ONE will publish that picture of him snoring in his seat, and drool coming out of his mouth. It would be front page on every papaer if Bush did that.

Could it be that Slick is really a lifelong Met fan just as the Beast is a lifelong Yankee fan?

Inquiring minds want to know.

As much as I dislike Clinton, I can understand falling asleep at a baseball came.

3 minutes of action crammed into 3 hours.

Don't see what the big deal is about this - most baseball games are boring. Shorten the game to 7 innings and cut the number of games to 100.

...waking in time to high-five fans sitting around him.

Not to hijack this thread, but I am so sick and tired of that LAME high-five thing. Is there an infomercial or any other TV commercial that doesn't include this forced ritual of feigned exuberance?

I'd love to see this picture. We could put it right next to the drawing of Ginsburg sleeping at SCOTUS.

He had open heart surgery not that long ago and he has had continuing health problems, so I can understand the snoozing.

Not a major deal IMO.

Now he giving China rocket and missile guidance technology...
THAT WAS A MAJOR DEAL.

Not only that, but pretend that it was DURING Bush's speech, as opposed to it being before he arrived.

3 minutes of action crammed into 3 hours.

Surely you jest; 3 minutes is a gross overstatement.

Saw this on GMA yesterday. "That's not fair...he was probably tired from his birthday parties over the last week" the GMA sub hostess said. Bill Wier agreed, they both giggled and moved on. Much the same as they would do if W. were filmed napping. not

It's loud with uncomfortable, small seats. Only a if you drink too much can you pass out in your seat.

Also include the one of them both sleeping at Reagan's funeral.

Well, he and his wife both dozed off at the memorial for 9/11 at the National Cathedral. They're just a couple of sleepy old folks.

YOu are right. Besides, he needed to rest up because after the game, he was going to meet with 3 hookers so he could show them how to protect themselves against HIV.
