The president spoke with UN SG Kofi Annan about the international force being assembled for Lebanon; the Iranian regime's statement on its nuclear program; and the need to improve the situation in Darfur. He attended a fundraiser for Senator George Allen, R-VA.
President Bush met with Rockey Vaccarella, Louisiana victim of Hurricane Katrina, to discuss rebuilding efforts there.
Bookmark for book to buy - Hi Snarlin Darlin!
Backatcha!
I took note of that book title - it was an interesting story, although I only remember bits and pieces.
I am coming east on Saturday...but to Florida to visit my son and DIL. I sure do want to come to DC and be with you guys there, though!
I feel that the world will realise after he has departed from office what a fine man and President he was it is just a shame that they never will whilst he is in office.
Oh, that's okay. I was just teasing you :)
Thanks for the prayers.
***It's from the GODFATHER, kitkat...........sheesh!***
The GODFATHER? You store your mayo on a mattress next to a horse's head? I'm getting worried about you.
Is sandwich meat what we call luncheon meat in other words pork and ham (Spam)
Oh, yes! My mother made ham salad for her bridge club, but us kids only got "Jumbo".
And, yes, mixed with Miracle Whip. :-)
My food grinder is in my "staging area" - I can't stand to throw anything out until I'm *sure*. I put stuff in the basement, and if I don't miss it for a year, it goes out.
Maybe my grinder will get a reprieve.
Is your sweet pickle similar to our Branston pickle?
I agree, snugs -- history will be much kinder to this GREAT president than the present has shown itself.
At least WE'RE here to cheer him on!
I missed this you went on a picnic?
I knew I was having trouble expressing my thoughts, but didn't realize how much, I guess! :)
For me, sandwich meat would be anything such as sliced turkey or chicken, sliced ham, bologna, sliced roast beef. Yes -- luncheon meat.
Good idea. :)
Only a minute my you must have a fast hot plate hard boiled eggs normally take well over 6 minutes on mine :0)
Well said
If you're going to be working at the Pentagon, you will be eating lunch at the Pentagon. You can't go anywhere from there unless you take a bus or the subway, and that'd be a long lunch hour.
Gov't cafeterias aren't great - maybe you should start thinking about brown bags.
I was a little depressed today when watching a clip of George Allen. My feelings weren't as much a reflection on Allen as they were a reflection on GWB. What on earth are we going to do after he leaves office? I know that God has a plan, but I think we Dosers are going to be a bit depressed!
Well, I just love broadband....and at only $30 a month for as many PC's as you have is a good deal....
And....what becomes of the DOSE? Could you see us doing A DAY IN THE LIFE OF HILARY CLINTON?
I think NOT!
