Steyn is great and Rush needed to add a new member to the replacement lineup.

Wow...24 replies in 12 minutes...this place rocks!
Walter E Williams and Roger Hedgecock (spelling?) are the best Stand-ins...Lets hope Steyn does well and gets a regular part in the rotation.

Steyn's articles are great. I'm sure he's a hell of a lot better than Mark Belling.

Wow, I've never heard Mark Steyn (just read him). I like Roger Hedgecock the best after Rush, but of course, nobody is equal to Rush. Still, I'm really looking forward to hearing Mark Steyn tomorrow. Thanks for posting this!

I listen to Rusty Humphreys at night and he sometimes lets Bob Dornan sub for him, Dornan needs to stay away from radio........ B-1 Bob has subbed for Rush, I believe - I know he had his own show for a time. He, uh, rambles. Cannot seem to otganize his thinking
Steyn is a great get for sub...2 days I hope? I bet his ratings fare a lot better than when the usual suspect host the show!

Hopefully, Steyn is as quick-witted and intelligent on air as he is in print.

He has hosted a radio show I believe.
This is AWESOME news. Steyn is way way up there with Rush in terms of influence IMO
To: moonhawk
This should be good. It would seem to go against Rush's usual practice of having Guest Hosts who do not approach the wit and intelligence of The Host.

Hopefully, Steyn is as quick-witted and intelligent on air as he is in print. Have no fear. He has been great on C-Span and on interviews with Hugh Hewitt.
I think this will be a breakout for Mark Steyn, the heavily praised pundit by FR.

He's often interviewed on Bennett's show and Hewitt's, and he's just like he is in print: on target, colorful & insightful, funny!

I listen to Rusty if I get off work in time. He handles libs better than Hanitty does. He listens to what they have to say and tries to get them to think. He doesn't cut them off and call them names...until they prove they're beyond rational thinking. He's also very funny!
Can't wait to hear Mark tomorrow!
