Wonder what the group from the other thread are going to say on here?
Yes
It doesn't bother me one way or the other.
Why a new thread?
I don't get why it's such a big deal. And I'm female!
No. And I am a woman.
Good luck trying to find a bunch of men to teach Sunday School.
NO
Sure, why not?
Well the Baptist Sunday School teacher wasn't teaching scripture to men, she was teaching Sunday School to male children.
It's their church. They should be able to do what they want.
Why should'nt a knowlegable woman be able to teach anything to a man? What do we have here more members of the American Taliban branch. What nuts.
Yes. Why not?
Darn, I guess I want my money back from those nuns.
YES
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
The inconvenient fact is, Satan approached Eve to rebel against God, not Adam. Eve was the one who was deceived, Eve was the first one to disobey God. Not Adam. Adam foolishly followed in Eve's footsteps, and was punished by God for it, but Adam was not approached by Satan for the purpose of deception, and Adam was not the one deceived.
This is about the roles of men and women in the church as commanded by God. The truth of Scripture and the eternal condition of the souls of mankind are too important for God to just leave to chance. Unfortunately for many people, God is not politically correct and is not subject to the whims of human beings, like feminism and it's resulting rearrangement of society, for instance.
Where man looks at this and sees unfairness and "discrimination", God sees the fact that the woman, having the nature that God gave her, was known by Satan to be susceptible to deception, was confronted by Satan, was lied to by Satan, and sinned against God as a result of the deception.
Women have their God-given roles in the church; being in a position of authority over men is not one of them. And, if we don't like it, it's too bad.
Bump for read later.

I think it should be left up to the denomination
