Rangel Says Term “Islamofascist” an Insult
AZCONSERVATIVE ^ | 17 August 2006 | John Semmens

Posted on 08/18/2006 10:56:41 PM PDT by John Semmens

In an appearance on the TV show “Hardball” Representative Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) objected to President Bush’s the use of the term “Islamofascist” to describe the terrorists who blow up airplanes and buildings indiscriminately killing innocent men, women and children. “We gave Hitler, a white man, the benefit of the doubt in the 1930s,” said Rangel. “I know that turned out badly, but why shouldn’t brown men get the same benefit? Shouldn’t our policies be racially balanced.”

“Besides, they haven’t killed that many people yet,” Rangel continued. “There ought to be some minimum number of deaths before we start calling them fascists. I mean, George Bush has killed more people than Osama bin Laden has and Hitler killed millions. Should we call them all fascists? To single out these Arabs and call them fascists is unfair and an insult.”

In related news, in a bid to follow the lead of Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe, the government of South Africa is threatening to expropriate the farms of whites. “Africa must be reserved for the black man,” said Land Affairs Minister Lulu Dingdong. “We are in charge now. The whites that were born here will have to get used to it if they want to stay here.”

The President actually said "Islamist Fascist", not "Islamofascist".

Rangel Says Term “Islamofascist” an Insult

Actually, if republicans were smart, they would expose this. Rangel's actually implying that all muslems are terrorists so to call them “Islamofascist" is an insult. It has to be what he is saying.

OR

Rangel is saying that calling Bin Laden an “Islamist fascist" is insulting the poor man and his 'freedom fighters'.

Imagine what the democrat jews would think if Rangel's words were exposed enough.

"To single out these Arabs and call them fascists is unfair and an insult.”

It is suppose to be Charlie. Get with the program.

“Besides, they haven’t killed that many people yet,” Rangel continued. “There ought to be some minimum number of deaths before we start calling them fascists."

We will have to remember that the next time 'reparations' are mentioned. After all, the white man didn't sell, trade, and enslave THAT many blacks from Africa compared to the total amount of blacks on the continent at that time.

Did he go to college to learn to think that way, or was he always a moron?

June 5, 2006 — Four years after taking a privately funded trip to Cuba with his wife and son, Rep. Charles B. Rangel, D-N.Y., has acknowledged a violation of House ethics rules and reimbursed two of the sponsors.

After inquiries from the Center for Public Integrity, Rangel amended his travel disclosure form for the April 2002 trip and reimbursed the Cuban government and New York grocery magnate John Catsimatidis for $1,922 in expenses incurred by the congressman's son Steven. House rules allow private sponsors of lawmakers' trips to cover only the costs of one accompanying relative — in Rangel's case, his wife Alma.

In an April 27 letter to the House Office of the Clerk, Rangel wrote, "I was recently advised that under the rules of the House [his son's] expenses were not allowable for payment by the trip's sponsors … Therefore I am filing an amended travel disclosure report reflecting my reimbursement to the sponsors for the relevant amounts."

He wrote a similar letter to the chief of the Cuban Interests Section in Washington, D.C., which represents the Cuban government.

Rangel's amendment and reimbursements are the latest developments in a Center investigation into the trip to Havana, which was designed to raise awareness about endangered birds. As it turns out, for Rangel it was also about meeting with President Fidel Castro to discuss the uneasy U.S.-Cuba relationship.

Thanks, but this isn't really good satire- it's too close to reality.

Another reason NOT to stay home in protest in November. Rangel needs to be de-moted not pro-moted. Think about it.
