John Carr is a pretty common name.

Indeed.

In fact, in just five minutes of googling I discovered there is a "John Carr" in Bangkok who is a key player in an organization, ECPAT, dedicated to eliminating child prostitution.

The poor guy's phone is ringing non-stop right about now.

I certainly have suspicions about this guy's proclivities...considering it appears as if he was in trouble THERE on sexual charges. (That's gotta be bad!)

Questions for you Fishtalk:

First, if there are thousands of confessions to this murder, why is the first time someone has been arrested....and with the added burden of having to deal with it internationally? It seems to me that if they weren't feeling pretty confident it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

Second, what makes you certain you are right?

Finally, would you rather have it be this guy? What will you do if he is convicted? Are you so convinced that he is not guilty that you will fight for his innocence? (Trying to gauge just how sure you are.)

(BTW, it appears you had tragedy in your own family. I am so sorry you had to endure something like that. Prayers for you.)

If you want the true facts, find the issue of Vanity Fair where they wrote about the case. You wouldn't believe all the false information that was reported and is still being reported by the media.

I just read that the guy "confessed" to drugging jonbenet and then having sex with her killing her accidently.

According to CNN no drug were found in her body and the sexual assault was "minor"(how any assault on a 6-year-old can be minor i'll never know) with her vagina only showing a few abrasions. I think this guy is just confessing for attention. I would love it if this case was finaly solved and justice served but alas I do not think this sicko did it.

No - they haven't announced anything yet. He just landed at LAX and will stay in LA for at least tonight before going to Boulder.

Thats what ABC said. They aren't saying it anymore...
But its the MSM, not very reliable.

They haven't announced any results yet from the DNA.
