You just keep on waiting along with all the rest that have been waiting since 48', this is just another battle in the greater Arab/Israeli wars, everybody's going to go back home in a week or so, tensions will ease, and at some point 6 months to 6 years down the road we can do this all over again. All these "intelligent minds" don't have the stones to do what's necessary to finish this job
I was reading an article about Iran being pissed because of all the rockets squandered in Lebanon. They origionally were bragging about having 13,000 of them there. Took them two decades to get them in place!

It does get a bit old doesn't it? If people would just live everyday under the assumption that it is the last day, we'd probably all be better off. And as you clearly point out, the good ol' days weren't always so good. Call me an optimist, but I'm perfectly happy to be alive today, and if tomorrow is the end, I'm just fine with that too.

Abraham's plea for sparing the city wasn't a complete failure. God delivered his nephew Lot and his daughters. Such was God's regard for faithful Abraham.
I understand the emotions, jhp. I am frustrated too, but refuse to give in to pessimism. Could you tell me what exactly what IS necessary to FINISH the job? What scenario would you suggest that would completely disarm Hezbollah and prevent Israel from ever being attacked again?

I know I've certainly been paying attention, but perhaps you weren't insinuating that I wasn't. I would never suggest that the "status quo" of the last 60 years exists, or that it should exist. I would hope that the poker players have learned a thing or two over the past 60 years. And as wise poker players know very well, it isn't wise to show one's hand.
