Love is a Battlefield
IDF soldier received heart shaped cookie somewhere near the Lebanon border...

A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said that the continuation of the Israel Defense Forces operation in Lebanon is aimed at paving the way for the Lebanese army to take over the area.
Earlier it was reported that the IDF will continue its operation in southern Lebanon in spite of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's decision to recommend on Sunday that the government accept the UN ceasefire agreement. (AP)

ALL things are NOT as they SEEM ,,,,
(Go Israel, Go! Slap 'Em Down Hezbullies.)
Besides the fact, are you ready for another hole in your wallet ... to pay for rebuilding Lebanon?
his son probably owns the trucking company that ships rockets to hezbollah.
Just got in. Apparently I've missed a crappy resolution by the UNSC, yes?
I agree...
Kofi: "I have just had a terrible experirence with letting a problem fester".
Which one do you think he was talking about?
turn on the TV, you are just in time to see it all play out.
I sure hope you're right.
Eloquent ... and true.
"Where my collar...
Kofi Annan talking about all of the humanitarian work the UN has done...
I just can't deal with this...this cannot be happening in a sane world."
That's the lesson for free people to learn. The world is not a sane place and will in time attack sanity at its very foundations. Israel has been bit by liberalism it's been a great lesson for us all. I just saw a post that suggests a political tidal wave is about to his Olmert. Elections are already being called for.
Oh..Bah, isn't this just so sad.
I am glad his daughter and wife are coming home tonight...I would hate that sofa have to sit at home by himself tonight..
did he just say he will work over the weekend to get a timetable when to end the fighting? This assumes this resolution doesn't say israel must stop action NOW
Well, IDF, just kill as many of them as you can while you have the chance.
"Israel has been unable to defeat Hezbollah and was concerned about growing Israeli casualties, as well as international condemnation, if the war continued. However, Olmert also feared that accepting a deal that does not rein in the guerrillas could lead to another war down the road and hurt him politically."

I agree with you, it's not like Bush, Rice or Bolton to compromise. Either, as you say, there is something else up or staying the course was compromising our position in other ways. The elephant in the room is Iran, it's time to reframe the issue. But it's not like the Bush administration doesn't know the same thing and isn't working accordingly, whatever the appearances.
Having said that, I'm listening to Kofi and would like to kick the television in...it isn't the resolution it's the body from which it comes that leaves me faithless right now.
Waiting...
GOD IS in CONTROL,,,how can i be wrong,,,?
Soldier ON !
