Almost a quarter of British Muslims say the 7/7 bombings can be justified because of the Government's support for the war on terror, according to an opinion poll.
And nearly half of those polled, or 45%, believe the 9/11 attacks on New York were a conspiracy between the US and Israel.
The survey, for a Channel 4 Dispatches documentary to be screened tonight, found Muslims under the age of 24 were twice as likely to justify the 7/7 attacks as those aged over 45.
It found 24% across all age groups either agreed or tended to agree that the 7/7 bombings were justified, although 48% said they "strongly disagreed" and 17% said they did not know.
The figures are significantly higher than those from a poll last month, in which 7% thought suicide attacks on civilians in the UK could be justified in some circumstances - rising to 16% if they were aimed at a military target.
Almost four in 10 surveyed for the Channel 4 poll believe another attack will be launched in the UK by British-born Muslim terrorists.
A third of those questioned said they would rather live under Sharia law in the UK than British law.
The survey also reveals concerns among Muslims about Britain's moral standards, with 40% saying it is a country of bad moral behaviour, and 66% saying parents allow their children too much freedom.
Half said that police stop and search too many Muslims and 44% said they would rather send their children to a Muslim school.
The poll was released just before Britain's most senior Asian police officer was expected to warn that anti-terror laws discriminate against Muslims and could "criminalise" ethnic minorities.
It was reported today that Metropolitan Police assistant commissioner Tarique Ghaffur will call for an independent judicial review to investigate what caused the "anger and resentment" of young British Muslims that lay behind the July 7 bombings in London
Me think that I may one day google Dresden, Cologne, Hamburg, Tokyo, Hiroshima , Nagasaki, Cairo, Tehran, Damascus, Mecca and few others and see what they all had in common.
Kick them out of the country. I'm serious. I don't care if it's politically incorrect. They're a danger to British society. Kick them out of the country.

Multiculturalism will kill us all. When the majority of people finally come around to admitting the problem, it will already be too late.

45% and 55% are each 5% difference from half. I'd call either almost half and be accurate. And I'd say if almost half believe 9/11 was a Jooz/American conspiracy, your religion has a major problem, and that's in England even.
Should be shouted from the mountain tops.
Until there is backlash, you won't see any movement on these attitudes.
The problem is there won't be, instead they'll be coddled and their conspiracy mongering apologized for and justified.
In fact, they are ingrates who don't deserve the country that took them in.
This war won't come to a close until we deport Muslims from all Western countries. The world will look back in wonder at how we ever let a fifth column like this penetrate our societies. There will only be bigger and bigger attacks until we wake up and do this.
As for Valin...are you serious? Your argument is that "45% is nowhere near half?" You know, Germans in WWII and in the 1930's were not all for Hitler. So therefore we were at war only with "radical Germans"? In fact Hitler got elected with less than the 1/3 fraction that represents British Muslims who want a fascist sharia state in that country. You seem totally unable to understand what a political enemy is. Radical death-cult Islam is an accurate representation of Islam today, and this de-radicalization will not stop until we do to them what we did to the Germans and the Japanese.
Valin's arguments are patently absurd and I shouldn't even need to say this, but I've seen that he always has the same figures and words ready to defend Muslims whenever reasonable people dare to point out the truth--I have seen that Valin is always there to call them bigots. You won't convince us to put our heads in the sand.
Valin, when you are talking mass murder, 1% that are for it is a very scary number. People are suppose to be able to understand that mass murder is not good.
But then, you do not understand that 45% of an immigrant ethnic group advocating terrorism and mass murder of their hosts is not excused by 55% thinking it is bad.
Only half want the violent overthrow of the government and the extinction of its citizens?!
100% of the Japanese during World War II stated they were against the violent overthrow of America, but we jailed them anyway till the war was over.

Since British society is obviously not to their liking and they don't appreciate it, they should quit complaining and just LEAVE! Return to the pit from whence they originally came, and the sooner the better.
Some months ago the UK was paying three thousand pounds to immigrants who'd pack up and leave -- clearly aimed at Muslims. I wonder if they had many takers. (Not nearly enough.)
The first reaction to these polls is that Muslims are crazy, why would they want to transplant 7th century conditions to life in the UK? But that's not it. They want modern life with all the conveniences, but they want Islam in charge -- a delusion. Bottom line, they're crazy.
