So they admit they doctored the photograph. Good work bloggers.

Thanks for the great work. I still do not believe that the building in Qana, which fell 8 hours after an attack in the vicinity was caused by any Israeli ordnance. It was staged by the Hezdevils but how does one prove that like the great people did with this photo?

Will the NY Times the photo was doctored but accurate?
To: Crazieman
On the link you provided, there's a button for 'recommend this photo'. I wonder if Freepers should click and 'recommend' the picture so it'll make the 'Top 10 recommended photos'. The more people see this announcement, the better. Otherwise, I'm affraid this announcement would be the only thing they have on this issue.

The sad part is that the photographer perhaps simply gets a 'warning' (not to be that unprofessional next time), and that's it.I doubt it. His ass is grass. Even if you don't believe Reuters is interested in integrity, you'd better believe that it's interested in not being publicly embarrassed like this. The editor who approved this to go out on the wire is probably packing up his desk, too (or possibly alone, if he did the hack Photoshop job).
To: mewzilla
But other than the link I just posted, which is also above, the wires seem stangley silent about this story.
Go figure.

Here's the message for Reuters... I did soft-pedal a little:
Fake Photo: with regard to your fake (photoshop enhanced) photo: have you fired the person responsible, or if you bought this from some freelance photographer, have you ceased doing business with this person? Also, have you reviewed every other photo from that source to see what other deception there may be? Please let the world know, your credibility is at risk.
To: pissant; Slings and Arrows; Hadean
Now if they could just admit that 90% of their stories are doctored as well. Anybody with any sense must know that most of what the media spouts is embellished nearly to the point of fiction.
Only a lemming would believe most of the garbage the MSM puts out.

Do you remember that old show, "The Outer Limits"? The MSM controlled all that you saw or heard.
Walter Cronkite visited VietNam around the time of the '68 Tet offensive, one of the most decisive victories for the American and So V'Namese military. Cronkite went on TV and told the American people that Nam was "unwinnable" and he and the rest of the American press turned this victory into a loss. Think that could happen today?

I'm surprised Al Reuters didn't defend the photo claiming that no one could prove the story wasn't true.
