OK, now things are getting weird.
This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop clone tool to add more smoke to the image. (Hat tip: Mike.)
Its so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. Theres really no question about it.

Yep, good idea (o: I just popped over there and I see Ms. Malkin has it covered -- posted at 10:50pm tonight;

ROFL!!!
I concur. This is quite funny.
heya! you have returned
this one seems legit.
taken with a wide-angle lens from a low POV, creating a significant upwards single vanishing-point perspective which makes stuff quite difficult to fake.
Well done and nice catch. After reading the rest of these posts it is pathetic how obvious that al-rooters is shilling for the bad guys.
Smiling... Yep.
That is the greatest photoshop job ever!!!
detail at 1000x:
that is NOT common edge-slop one sees in resized images. far too big, far too regular.
what is WRONG with the counterfeiter?
has he never heard of working at 1000x, then doing serial soften, despeckle, and median-cut filtrations before resizing the image down to final dimensions?
agreed.
No surprise! All you have to do is read the posts from democrats in their messageboards...

There are a couple of other photos of his I've looked at zoomed in, some are legit for sure. Others -- especially 3 of the bombing/smoke pictures he's taken look manipulated in one way or another -- not as obvious as this picture though. Pixels of different sizes, perfect squares, Part pixelated and another still smooth at high zooms. Alas, I'm not a pro so I can't tell if what I see is FOR SURE faked, or not.
Whaddaya know - when I saw the image I though "I could do a better job with MS Paint." I guess I was right. (See my profile page for evidence - all MS Paint-work.)
I've sent an email to Reuter's editor asking if this is fake, along with it CC'd to Drudge. I won't hold my breath.
this and your #355... definitive proof of forgery.
I'm putting out the call for a Buckhead Award
Let's see if this makes the MSM.
