OK, now things are getting weird.
This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop clone tool to add more smoke to the image. (Hat tip: Mike.)
Its so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. Theres really no question about it.
Smoke billows from burning buildings destroyed during an overnight Israeli air raid on Beiruts suburbs August 5, 2006. Many buildings were flattened during the attack. REUTERS/Adnan Hajj
I scan the original to my computer and retouch the scanned image, then I retire the original. Once I complete retouching of the scanned image, I print it on photo paper. I've done that to my grandmothers wedding photo from 1920 and a picture of my granfather and his uncles taken in 1917. Actually, that image was sent to me via e-mail so I don't have the original.
They both turned out very well.
bump. this looks like an obvious fake.
note the wavy areas in the smoke, that's an amatuer Pic Wytching.Note the rest of his body has no such wavy areas.
Now here's one of mine, even blown up 500% you can't spot the wytched or wavy pixels.
No I meant can yall remove the photoshop from this picture to show what it originally looked like? Can you remove the smoke?
ping....
No. It's set and saved.
I magnified a copy in PSP but can't see any difference in pixel size between the hat and those around the hat. The thing is, there's no reason for faking more smoke or weird smoke. Except exaggeration. Maybe that's enough for Adnan.
I don't think you can. The pixels you copy and paste take the place of the ones you pasted over.
hmm. I'm not seeing this. I do note, though, that his shirt is wavy. Not permanent press.
When has something like that ever stopped a Freeper?:')
Yeah, so do I. Just had to post that line after seeing Baghdad Bob's Count Rugen-like hand in post #5. ;>)
I had looked at that particular photo earlier when I googled the photographer's images...
There are a couple of suspicious areas, but nothing certain..... I'd have to have a higher resolution file to tell for sure. But if it is faked, it is a much better job... either done by someone more skilled, or at least less hurried.
NEVER!
It's not just on him, it is the whole hill he is standing on. It has a more intense pixelization than the background. It's like the man and the rubble he is standing on has been manipulated. Either he wasn't there and was inserted; or, everything was there and a manipulation of contrast was done on the pixels that were there in order to make him stand out. It has been manipulated though.
Look above his right shoulder, do you see an area that looks like a cross three pixels tall and three wide with the center pixel darker then the rest of the cross, that's a touch up.
Also area to the left side of his face was not touched up next to his chin.
...trying to make a good pic in order to have future pics bought
That's an excuse? That's fraud! One helluva way to "try and get future business"...just make up whatever you think Reuters/MSM wants to "trick" the world with as long as it gets across their biased views! Geez!.
No surprise here .. the media has been doing this kind of crap for years

I don't know if anyone else can see it, but I think I see three skulls in the picture.
rt side center down, rt top 1 1/2 " to left, top center between two plumes of smoke. SUBLIMINAL ??????
