Just breaking on FOX that the IAF has viedo of the bombing of the Qana building that proves rocket launchers were present. More to follow soon...
First rule of parents, don't let your children play around rocket launchers.
Can you see now how important facts (like your apology) can get overlooked when they are buried WAY DOWN in a thread?
: )
having now watched it several more times, I notice that in what appears to be zoom views, the date/time stamp has been pixelated, except for the 7/22 panorama view.
In addition, IDF is parsing their words very very carefully, leaving plenty of room for whatever the hezzy/UN and press can make out of it
Forget it!
I posted before I read all the other similar posts or I wouldn't have.
Your entire post and the sequence of direct replies:

Nice try. I remember the millions marching in Germany against upgrading NATO defenses and missile deployment, when the European public sentiment appeared more vocal and averse to the US than it does now. Yet Reagan still led. I remember having to avoid areas that were American when I was over there after the Berlin disco bombing and our strikes on Tripoli. I remember my roomate having to run out of a Paris subway station after an evacuation announcement and subsequent bombing. I remember the pounding he took from the media, some of which would not be responded to much. But on important matters he would challenge them or go over their heads to talk directly to the public whenever it was necessary, and to the extent necessary. Volume and quantity wasn't the issue, but effectivenss.
Yeah, withdrawing from Beirut may have been the biggest mistake of his presidency, but it also was a decision made in a different context. There were no WMD programs threatening bringing attacks to our shores, a more divided, less armed, and somewhat counterbalanced M.E., with Iran not having near the ability to wage a proxy war on the scale that it can now with Hezb and other groups.

It was a response to this crap that you wrote in the same post:
You don't know what you re talking about. And you have no idea what happened during the Reagan administration either.
Sorry for assuming that you could remember what you wrote a few minutes earlier in the same post that I was directly responding to. You seem to have comprehension problems, too, so let me spell it out directly. I volunteered and campaigned for Reagan, so yes, I know a thing or two about him and what was happening back then.
You'll have to resort to another tactic to try and discredit thoughts that you don't like.

Franks is cagey and he is smart. As well, I would like a military man in the White House. But I've never been sure he's a Republican.
Military people, a lot of times, are given credit for being ultraconservative and all of that, but they don't announce party alliance and do all that sort of stuff. And so we call ourselves apolitical. Actually, I carry that into civilian life. I'm not a Democrat. I'm not Republican. I'm not an independent.
From a lengthy interview with Cigar Afficionado magazine (towards the end).
"Why didn't you just post this information on the daily LIVE thread???"
Thank god we have the posting police!
Where did you see the video? This is the one Gillerman was talking about?
on FNC.....I doubt if you could watch as long as 15 mins without seeing it.......
Works for me.
Thanks... that answers it, I don't have cable.
Thank you for a courteous reply to an honest question.
I have been away from news for a while and I didn't know what the Qana building was either, although I immediately inferred that it was a Hez building bombed by Israeli's.
I wish I could know every thing but ....
You just proved my points.
Anyone know how many missiles were lobbed at Israel today? Haven't heard that reported by FoxNews yet. All the MSM whining about Qana is worth nothing as compared to whether Israel's actions are having an effect.
"Bush pushing Israel to stop killing terrorists! How can anyone support that?"
I believe you are both exaggerating and misstating. Bush has never said anything of the sort and, in fact, has stated many times that Israel has the right to defend itself.
Asking for them to show restraint is just a rhetorical sop to the fanatics.
He knows they show much more restraint than the Hezbo's (to use Rush's word)
Guess it will be a long time before you play posting police again...LOL
A lot (probably most) of the people complaining about your post just posted immediately (as I did) before reading all the other complaints.
I would never have piled on had I read them.
And your first born son will not be needed, unless of course, he's cute and in his early forties.
It's sad but true. Many of the Reagan worshippers are the same people who would have griped loudest about him back in the day.
They are now just using his 'greatness' as a weapon against Bush.
He was great, but so is Dubya.
Thanks. Yes, I saw the video...'bout time!
But, of course, the MSM is now demanding "nosecone" video from the plane firing on the Hezbos.
Israel can't win for losing. Israel planned bomb shelters for every community and, when the bombing got too bad, moved its citizens out of the north. Thus, Israel has far fewer casualties...and this is used against them in the PR war!
That sound you hear is me pulling my hair out!
