The essay below was originally written in the early Spring of 2001:

With the passing away of LEXX ends an intriguing albeit tawdry experiment in Sci-fantasy. One that breaks with conventions, or should I say cliches of TV sci-fi of the 90's . The politically correct pabulum, the multicultural indoctrination, the BladeRunner motifs, and not the least; the steroid mutated superbabes that can punch the lights out of men, but never get punched back in return !?

How about creating a new sci-fi anthology with none of the puerile baggage of Rod Serling, Rockne Obannon, Michael J. Stracinsky, etc .. It is time to end their reign of un-American cynicism and fatalism !

I am not sure, but I think that I saw a few episodes of this low energy static sci-fi melodrama on the Sci-Fi channel back in 1994 ? ? ?

Sure was dull . Kier(or is it Keir) Dullea also starred in a very early slasher film from that time, I forgot its' name - - it co-starred Margot Kidder and Art Hindle .

This movie was a predecessor to Halloween and Friday the 13th ~ well maybe ! ?

In 1986, it began, these Femb!tches started leading men around by the nose, rem: ALIENS, the Sigourney Weaver character Ripley ?

the last act where the character slapped hard that man who was in charge of the marine exhibit ?

Your entire premise is faulty. Star Trek had a GIANT (HA! Got one past the huge police)impact on the future. Flip phones, scientists exploring the possibilities of warp travel, medical advances that I can't even begin to list here, social patterns and even NASA programs - no matter how misguided. STNG did an episode 12 years ago named "I Borg." It was a direct correlation to the current WOT - so right on target it is scary.

The current scifi treats include DR. Who, Battlestar Galactica and yes SG versions. BG can in NO way be deemed politically correct. SG is very politically correct due to the younger audiences it draws. Firefly and the movie Serenity are outstanding comments on the human condition. Even the new Eureka has some interesting takes on the human condition. Maybe you should go read Dune again or better yet suffer through the movie and get your warp field centered. :-)

The makers of social poison like this should be sued for intentionally marketing violence to children, especially when there is a link that demonstrates that the show encouraged violence.

It shows a future where normal feminine women have been completely eliminated. This evil, androgynous, communistic empire must be destroyed before it destroys humanity!

One episode showed a feminazi child abuser training a bunch of girls in martial arts fighting. Caitlin and another girl acted like they were street gang punks, taking trash while sparing, they then got into a brawl that wasn't part of the organized violence. The act of using underage teen girls in actual combative fighting is child abuse, the makers of this anti-female poison, including the executives at Nickelodeon and Disney, should all be arrested and prosecuted, for abusing these girls, in any country in the world that cares about protecting children. Viacom produced this garbage aided though a Canadian tax credit program to support child abusing anti-social violent propaganda.
