So, MSNBC reports the following Breaking News! "US Funding Hezbolah!"

Yes, they are. But the bills overlap. The sheets can't be cut with the bills so oriented so I'm at a loss to explain the overlapping.
MSNBC: We not only know nothing, we suspect nothing.
To me the overlapping looks like someone was running them through a copier for the serial numbers. Odd size copier though...
Maybe we're looking at this wrong. Instead of counterfeiting, maybe we're seeing some kind of money laundering function? Regardless, it seems to me those sheets should NOT be in bombed out rubble in Lebanon.
Could be. Not only are the bills overlapped but the overlaps are not uniform. Kim Il would never tolerate such shoddy work. :-)
Ping.
You were there, and being with the IMF you should have some idea of the answer. What are we looking at, and would it legitimately be in Lebanon?
When confronted with obvious truths, they insist they had no idea.........
"The bills appear to be vertically overlapped and not separated as they would be in uncut sheets. We may be jumping the gun here."
I was thinking the same thing, but also had a another doubt. Imagine the scene -- it's absolute chaos, and there is a pile of what appears to be valuable currency laying in a pile on the street, available to any passerby. How long does it remain there?
Which is typical for the great majority of them. These minions obviously wandered off the AP/Reuters ranch without a guide.
But that still begs the question: what IS it, then, and why is it there? And most importantly, why are WE asking these questions insteaf of the reporter who was literally standing on top of them!
Hmmmmmm.
MuSliM...
I saw that and instantly noticed the markers beside each. Smoke, no fire!
Not for long in New York. I can't come up with an explanation.
>>I am not sure, CNN admitted the other day that their reports in Lebanon have been censored to the extreme.
>>Perhaps this was the only way that the reporter could let us see what was really going on.
That's a really good point. If this guy is wandering around with Hezzie media handlers, he has plausible deniability on his report, that he wasn't intending to show them in a bad light.
Maybe that's the Hella-ba-zoo $50 bill? :-)
So, you're saying "nothing to see here, move along..."? Even if it's not counterfeit, aren't you the least bit curious of what it was (and what the terrorists were doing with it)? Also, if I remember right, this report was all about civilian suffering - doesn't this stack - no matter what they were for - bolster the case that terrorists were there? Why would a civilian in Beruit have a HUGE copy of overlapped American dollars? Why isn't anyone curious - especially MSNBC?
