NBC Nightly News' Richard Engel was on location in Sidon, Lebanon where he reported that 'the financial district' was hit by Israeli missles.
Scattered among the debris was countless sheets of uncut $100 US bills.
Now, since we know that you don't just get uncut currency from the bank, where did they come from???
To: MDspinboyredux
Perhaps Mr. Engel's producer wasn't ther to explain that to him...??? LOL! What a doofus.

Just when you think these press folks can't get any more silly and irrelevant something like this comes up. They don't have a clue.

Did you honestly expect any MSM outlet to report something that would show the terrorists in a bad light? If they can not blame America first then they don't report it.
It is hard to determine which is a greater threat to the USA, the MSM or the muslims.

I think this was just pure stupidity on the part of the reporter. If they wanted to present the enemy in the best possible light and recognized they had uncovered a counterfeiting operation they would have reported from a different location. The only conclusion you can come to from their oversight is they were totally clueless about where they were and the evidence in front of them.

That's the way I read it. Shep Smith has competition for the most clueless reporter over there.

I guess for me, the "financial district" comment was what was really strange.
Does he think the US Bureau of Printing and Engraving sends out sheets of currency to the bank, and it's up to the banks to cut them??
Or did he just simply not recognize it for what it was?

I am not sure, CNN admitted the other day that their reports in Lebanon have been censored to the extreme.
Perhaps this was the only way that the reporter could let us see what was really going on.
