The documents seized in the FBI raid on the offices of Rep. William Jefferson (D-LA) remain unread by Justice Department investigators, pending a federal Appeals Court ruling scheduled for August 27. [snip] But we already know a bit about the charges and some of the alleged partners of Congressman Jefferson. Two people have pleaded guilty to bribing him.

You missed the best part of the Article!
"Many other figures, some of them quite prominent, are likely to turn up as players in the temporarily suspended probe. Independent citizen-investigators, posting at such websites as Just One Minute, Macsmind, and Free Republic, have been poring over publicly-available documents and reports, in search of clues as to the identities of those as yet unnamed in the Jefferson investigation."

Macsmind first mentioned this in May. I have been thinking about this possibility and reviewing the detailed and well-documented research published at Free Republic by a poster known as Fedora, who has examined public domain information and connected some very interesting dots. Joe Wilson, it turns out, left the State Department and became a business promoter with some rather intriguing connections before he went on his infamous mission to Niger. Fedora, you got a mention, you detailed and well documented poster, you.

Joe Wilsons new incarnation as a wheeler-dealer in corruption-rife countries in Africa was a perfect fit for his role as impresario of the massive Clinton delegation to Africa, which brought together corruption-stained individuals on the lookout for future business opportunities. The investigation of William Jefferson may well shed some unwanted light on him, many others in Congress, the Clintons, Wilson and who exactly the AGOA benefited and how. August 27th is coming soon.
Great find... I thought you should at least include the "money line" conclusions! Joe Wilson, Representative Jefferson, and Bubba! What a combination!

Wow...let the good news roll. This could get really good by election time.
Every time I hear a liberal say "party of corruption" I see red.

A very smart man advised me that he never assesses whether or not someone is trustworthy or altruistic or being a good guy. Too many people are well schooled and trained in the art of deception. My mentor and very smart guy advised me that he looks for the agenda only--learn what the other is really trying to achieve rather than what outward appearances indicate.
In the case of Wilson and Plame it appears from this article that their agendas are going to become quite clear to the detriment of the barking moonbats who have championed their "cause".
Interesting that they dropped their lawsuit against Cheney et al almost immediately--wonder whether they were tipped off by Jefferson to lay low because some real damaging dirt could be obtained (on them all-Wilson, Plame, and Jefferson) via discovery motions targeting the Congressman's (for now) sealed files.

I would like to know who all went with Joe Wilson on his 'tea sipping' mission in February of 2002.
Further I have thought all along that there was a Clinton type 'mastermind' orchestration of Joe Wilson being presented to the CIA for this 'intel' gathering mission. Reason because of what happened next, and that memo that laid out the road map for these liberals to pull their trigger for that independent counsel.
Right out of the 'Watergate' mentality and everyone knows where exactly old Hillry cut her political teeth and put into practice that knowledge say for instance that 'wall building' for 8 long years.
I think President Bush has reason to call her "formidable".
Further it make sense now why some one in government leaked to the NYTimes how money was being tracked through the banking system and put the pressure on the EUROS to stop assisting US in the terror monitoring. May well be our liberals are getting a percentage of the money.

Ooooooooo This has some juice in it! It's a great big elephant sized lemon for a number of people, and boy howdy, are we gonna get some lemonade out of this! Fitz-mas? Hell we all knew that there was nothing to the "Fitz-mas" baloney, it was a front, a cover, a puppet put up to try and disguise this great big lemon. Kinda like putting Makeup on a sow and dressing her in silk, she may be well made up but she is still a pig. There is going to be some real fallout from this, the Dims gave it a good shot and a good try at trying to distract, but this one is going to hurt.... I, for one am damn glad, time to pay the Piper, Joe, his price is HIGH!

Wow...let the good news roll. Roll where, exactly, besides on here?
No way the MSM, which includes the wire services our local papers rely on, touches this with a ten-foot pole.
No way the NRCC or RNC has the stones to use this in their ads. Someone might call them mean-spirited or something.

Wow, so they have connected the dots between 3 crooks. This is so like these 3. Anyone remember during White Water, how the Clintons did the very same thing with saying even showing that someone had written a check to the Clinton campaign and this person came forward saying he had not. This is so Clinton IMO. How anyone could want this person to become President and/or his wife. It shows a lot about people that vote for scum, crooks and downright liars who think they are above anyone.
It's just sick. I would love to see the day that the Clintons are in orange suits as well as the other groups. Why don't we empty our prisons of those who are here illegally, deport them. Believe me they would quickly fill up again with all of the greedy scumbag crooks there are here in America. I would rather spend my tax dollars locking them up.
To: Danae
Where are you getting the juice from? Do you really think the Bush Justice Department would investigate a Democratic Congressman from New Orleans and a Clinton-Era appointee who has made a living calling Bush a liar? I'd like to think the answer is a resounding yes. But the minute someone calls this a politically-motivated witch-hunt, they will drop the investigation like a hot potato.
Remember, Democrats are allowed to investigate Republicans. Republicans are not allowed to investigate Democrats. I think it's enshrined in the District of Columbia legal code.

The Wilsons dropped their lawsuit????
When did I miss that?
Thanks,

Your friend is correct. Look at their agendas. That is always telling. It's usually about what they can do for themselves (control and power). Learn to read between the lines and always ask why is this person doing this? The truth will most likely show up. People like the Clintons have always done this sort of thing even going further to slap you in the face with "you are so stupid, little people, we will get away with it". Fine for right now Clintons; but you won't always get away with it. It's the orange suits for you down the road.

Congrats! :-)

In much less than a week of announcing the lawsuit, they dropped it--perhaps someone here can post a link.
