Where are you getting the juice from? Do you really think the Bush Justice Department would investigate a Democratic Congressman from New Orleans and a Clinton-Era appointee who has made a living calling Bush a liar? I'd like to think the answer is a resounding yes. But the minute someone calls this a politically-motivated witch-hunt, they will drop the investigation like a hot potato.

Remember, Democrats are allowed to investigate Republicans. Republicans are not allowed to investigate Democrats. I think it's enshrined in the District of Columbia legal code.

Ok, youhave a point here. However, there is already an investigation going on, of Jefferson, and that alone whould be all that is needed, the whole nasty ball of corruption ought to be laid bare by that.

But you do have a point. The Dims seem to think they are above that law and above investigation. So really, who is the elitist here? Just more Dim spin I suppose.
