I am tired of listening to Shep Smith from fox news in describing the fighting in Beirut. I have watched intently and am disgusted with him. It is quite apparent Shep is a liberal and has an agenda. He will make small comments in his reporting taking cheap shots at Israel, yet making Hezbollah look strong. I just watched him interview some young Israel soldiers and the ones he put in his report were anything but seasoned soldiers. Shep would ask them questions like "Are you scared?", "are Hezbollah fierce fighters?", etc. It was sickening. Heh Shep, while don't you STFU.
Shep has never heard of "just the facts". He is disgusting. I am amazed that Israel hasn't thrown him out or in jail.
Actually, I like Greta and I don't think that she is emotional or overdramatic. She happens to deal with the legal side of tragic human stories that inherently have an emotional side to them. I sometimes get tired of the type of stories she pursues on her show. But I can't fault her on her treatment of them. Her show has an entirely different purpose than Shep's. He is supposed to be a news anchor. She is not.
Good ?, mystery.
"Shep and Anderson Cooper should start dating.".......Would that be a VanderbiltShitzu?
I wrote to FNC praising Jennifer and Amy and panning Shep. Don't whine here, email them, too.
I did about five minutes ago.
It's not just Shep. Did you hear that anti-Semite Novak on the other day?
No, I did not unfortunately or should I say fortunately. I have limited time to turn on the news and I picked the wrong time today.
What nerve the media has! How dare they pry and poke and prod into people's deepest emotions? It is rude and insensitive. It makes me cringe.
See: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ - they will regularly post the daily ratings for all the cable news channels and individual programs. Shep got 2 shows because his dramatized stylings have connected with an audience.
It's irritating for me to have to hear about the poor, little, terrorists and their supporters. They run HUMANITARIAN programs you know!!!! *puke*

Brilliantly composed rant. It's about time we had a person of such talent here on Free Republic.
Thank you.
Do not know whether he is or is not, but one thing is certain - he is one can short of a six pack.
Between Buchanon and Novak, I don't know which despises Israel more.
At 7 p.m. I watch Glenn Beck on Headline News. He is a conservative and very funny.
Well, if Shep and Cooper aren't gay they've surely missed a good chance. I can understand CNN with Cooper, but Shep and Fox News? Guess this is their "fair and balanced"?
This Nancy Boy is pathetic.
I have to turn the channel when this purse swinger is on.
You nailed it. Last night he said Israel was carpet bombing Beirut! Then he totally mischaracterized the terrain. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is he doesn't know WTF he's talking about. He misinforms and often inflames already bad situations.
I email Fox 3 times a day asking them to either correct his factual errors or send him home. I don't give a rats behind about his politics or his sexual orientation, all I care about is straight reporting.
Agreed. I get uncomfortable when I see someone's sexual orientation speculated here. That's their business--and God's. Not mine. But I care a great deal about good reporting. And I'm smart enough to see through bias. If it gets bad enough, I will turn the station. Do it to CNN all the time. But CNN tends to have knowledgable reporters on the ground. Shep is not. I can't figure out what he's doing in Israel at all. He's a distraction to the real reporters who know what they're doing. And therefore, he's a barrier to listeners' finding out what the story there is.
