I am tired of listening to Shep Smith from fox news in describing the fighting in Beirut. I have watched intently and am disgusted with him. It is quite apparent Shep is a liberal and has an agenda. He will make small comments in his reporting taking cheap shots at Israel, yet making Hezbollah look strong. I just watched him interview some young Israel soldiers and the ones he put in his report were anything but seasoned soldiers. Shep would ask them questions like "Are you scared?", "are Hezbollah fierce fighters?", etc. It was sickening. Heh Shep, while don't you STFU.
I don't mind as much that Shep may tend to the left. I can't stand his lack of presence, his inane questions... the other day when he was with Jennifer Griffin who was doing a dazzling job, he interrupted her report to correct the way she pronounced something. I would have thrown something at him. I guess it's a good thing I'm not in front of the camera.
Those young IDF soldiers who spoke truthfully and from the heart shows us their character and the far higher moral ground of their existence together with the purpose and righteousness of their fight.
As for Shep, he's just another tv reporter trying to be all things to all people.
Now don't get nasty. My ancestors are intermarried all the way back and we didn't turn out like that!
Israel appearing weak will be an even bigger "recruiting tool".
I think it's safe to say that it doesn't take this particular episode to help with recruiting, the hatred is already inbred.

You think Israel looks weak? I surely have not gotten that impression. Restrained, maybe but not weak.

At 7pm each day, I turn over and watch BBC. Yes, they're horribly anti-American and leftist, but I like getting world news that I don't get anywhere else.
I don't care what they look like. I can't stand either one of them. At least O'Reilly takes some stands I admire.
His biases totally fit theirs, is all I meant. I agree he is totally unprofessional.
I think Shep has picked up some very nasty , overdramatic traits from Greta Van Facelift . She never misses an opportunity to leach onto and report about some poor soul's misfortune . Now Shep is acting just like her .
Hannity talking about CNN being so biased on his radio show now...has he heard Shep?

I think its a negative consequence we will have to deal with. If this operation wasn't required to keep Israeli towns from being blasted to pieces then I would care more about the effect on recruiting but when you are doing something you have to do, you let the chips fall where they will.
