Demonstrators waved signs and flags to express their views on the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah on Friday afternoon at Shaw and Blackstone avenues in Fresno.
About 50 people gathered at 5:30 p.m. at one corner of the intersection to support Israel. About 15 people were at the other side of the street to protest Israel's military campaign in Lebanon.

Oh, its just as hot. The temp sign read 113 at 5 PM as I was driving home from work.
I know Rocklin very well, my aunt lives in Loomis and my uncle lives in Rocklin. My parents lived in GV/NC for 8 years.
My buddy called about an hour ago saying he nor his friends that grew up here (I did not) seen such hot, consecutive days. I said stay in Fresno a few days and you will forget the heat here. : )
I've been FReep mailing JustAmy back and forth. We are commited to attend the rally Sept. 8th and the picnic at Woodward on the 9th. I volunteered myself to help cook. Hope to see and meet you at both. : )
Roger
It couldn't have been easy in the sweltering heat.
Thank you for your support of our troops, wounded warriors and what we do to try and express that support for all that cannot be there.
Here is a peek at what happened last night. There were only a couple pics or graphics until I posted 3 photos at the end. See if you can download this one.
