Demonstrators waved signs and flags to express their views on the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah on Friday afternoon at Shaw and Blackstone avenues in Fresno.
About 50 people gathered at 5:30 p.m. at one corner of the intersection to support Israel. About 15 people were at the other side of the street to protest Israel's military campaign in Lebanon.

I am so pleased to see such a good turnout for this. Sure wish JK and I could have been there. Especially sorry I missed you, DD and Syncro, because of the driving distance it isn't often that you can come to our rallies.

Hardly any of you patriots even mentioned the usual valley heat. I was stationed at Castle AFB three times, all for rather short periods, but one of those in the early eighties, a record was set for the number of days over 100 degrees. IIRC it was up in the 50's or 60's the number of consecutive days over 100. Great report, thanks.

Yes I hear you. Wish I had heard you while I was sitting in the unairconditioned greenhouse (cockpit) at the end of the runway at Castle. After takeoff, the airconditioning worked just fine, but not on the ground. I remember opening any door from an airconditioned space, and that dry heat would slap you right in the face.

Thank you for your service.
I wish FR had been around at the end of the Vietnam war. It is very sad the way you guys were treated.

We have reservations at Woodward.
I really enjoyed Kearney but Jim thinks Woodward is more convenient.
This is your type of weather, I expected to see you last night. :)
