HEADS UP - BREAKING NEWS - IRANIAN THREAT - BREAKING ON FR .
REPORTS FROM IRAN STATE:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad has declared he will make an announcement on Wednesday July 19th, 2006 which:
"WILL LET THE MOSLEM WORLD AROUND THE GLOBE KNOW THAT AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ISRAEL'S NUCLEAR ARMS OR NUCLEAR CAPABILITY EVER AGAIN"
This provides three possible scenarios:
1. Iran is about to nuke Israel.
2. Iran will declare they have nuclear capability with at least four missiles with NUCLEAR warheads (common knowledge in intelligence circles) that can easily reach all of Israel and threaten to use these against Israel if that country does not immediately cease attacks on the Hezbollah and Lebanon.
3. In the event that Israel does not comply, Iran will declare war on Israel and fire nuclear missiles, which would not leave much of a country over which any more fighting is logical.
HOPED FOR RESULT: Depending on the extent of damage to Israel and the ability of that country to continue as a nation in a radioactively polluted environment, already weak-kneed Western powers will call for creating non-aggression pacts with nuclear Iran.

Makes putting ANWR up for a vote again a nice political move. Agreed--and I think we should. However even if it gets passed, it would take some time to get the oil out, processed, and delvered. In the meantime, prices rocket up.
No matter what anyone does from this point on, our energy prices are gonna be atrocious.
I'm just glad I already know the ending of all this and who wins.

Modernize your mental database.
On 9/11 you had the OLD GUARD in charge of Iran, not the neo-Iran Ahmadi-Nejad crowd. He and his gang might have used an atom bomb - had he and Iran been a direct, active part of Al Qaeda at the time and been the planners and executives for the crashing of planes into the Towers.
You are mixing Oranges and Apples inside your thoughts to come to a false conclusion.
Everything you see now exists ONLY since August 15th, 2005. No parameter nor reasoning valid prior to that applies.
cheers,

I keep hearing about the date Aug 22 can anyone fill me in on this?
Yes! I have three daughters all born on August 22nd. A set of twins and another born three years later. It is one of those facts I use whenever I get asked that stupid ice breaker question -- "Name one thing about you that is most unique."

Is this the BIG threat :
President warns bullying powers of wrath of world Muslims
Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Prov, July 19, IRNA
Zionists-Lebanon-Ahmadinejad
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Tuesday evening warned bullying powers of the wrath of regional nations.
Addressing a local seminar attended by several university professors and thinkers in this northeastern provincial capital, he said bullying powers will soon burn in the fire of regional nations' wrath and the scenario of oppressors is coming to end.
The world is on the verge of great developments, he said, adding that world Muslims will soon be victorious over their aggressors.
As to the current situation in Palestinian territories, the Iranian president called for a free and fair election for
Palestinians through which they may determine their own fate.
He denounced the Zionist regime for its dreadful crimes in the region on the pretext of obtaining release of two of its captured soldiers, adding that the current Israeli offensive has been pre-planned.
The aggressors will suffer the most in the current situation, he concluded.

Nothing here - just thin air.

"The Hizballah, which literally means Party of God (a term used by the Holy Koran to promise eventual victory for the faithful), is an organization with a humanitarian cause and is too noble to reply in like manner to the filthy foul-mouthed US president, who sooner or later is expected to meet a fate worse than his Zionist pal, Ariel Sharon languishing in limbo for the past several months. Unlike the cowardly Zionists who target women and children, and their equally dastardly Godfather, the Great Satan, which shamelessly commits every imaginable crime from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba to the occupied lands of Iraq and Afghanistan as well as in other countries, Seyyed Hasan Nasrallah is a man of words. I hope Tehran has nukes and uses them on Israel. ONE Trident Sub will turn Iran into a glass parking lot within the hour. Go ahead make my day mFer's. This would solve many problems in the world. Oh and while we have the sub spun up let's take care of Mecca and Medina also - just so everyone knows we are serious and that Allah can't even protect his own holy sites.

AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT
If the translation is accurate, we will know the 'around the globe' the 'what' which would seem to occur before 'the announcement.'
Considering the sanity of the Iranian leadership, no telling what might happen. The current time in Tehran is 6:35 PM.

Although thoughts of Mecca and Medina are not exactly something that warms the cockles of my heart--don't think blowing them up would be a good idea. The Arab Muslim is never going to be on the same side as the West, but if we could put them in a position where they won't make a pain in the ass of themselves--I'd be reasonable satisfied with that.
