IAF Commander Maj.-Gen. Eliezer Shkedy said on Sunday that the IAF had only used "a small proportion of its fire power" in its attacks on Lebanon, adding that it was the IDF's prerogative how much of its military capability to use and warning that "the other side should consider all its alternatives."
"Our fighter jets have made over 1000 flights and our attack helicopters over 350," ...
"The results of our operations have been good and the targeting precise..."
The IAF commander explained that Hizbullah infrastructure had been targeted in the north, south and center of Lebanon.
Shkedy added that sea, air and land routes to and from Lebanon had been closed off, severely damaging Hizbullah's ability to operate and blocking all links with Syria.
Senior intelligence officer Yuval Halamish said that the IDF had successfully destroyed the rocket launching site pointing towards Haifa, which was responsible for killing eight people early Sunday, and that the new 250 millimeter rockets fired were Syrian made, demonstrating the strong connection between Hizbullah and Damascus.

100% correct...
I guess the phrase "Never Again" really means nothing.
Aside from the fact that they need a couple of Buffs, they have a very fine AF.
Personally, I hope they take out Syria and make Iran sweat.
"Israel-Just doing the job Americans won't do."
They love killing Jews more than they love their children.
I think they'd have more use for some of our mothballed B-1B's. Even better if they got some B-1B's reengined with the same engines used in the F-22. They would be able to supercruise at higher mach values than the currently configured B-1B can attain. Each B-1 has about twice the bomb load of one B-52. We should also consider selling or leasing the Australians some B-1B's as a replacement for their F-111's.
What's that supposed to be?
Proportionate to what ?
Proportionate to the stated intentions of their enemies ?
Proportionate to Israel's desire to survive ?
Proportionate to how badly they are outnumbered by muslims ?
The French President waving a white flag.
Well, the muzzies have been attempting genocide for generations now. What's a proportionate response to that?
"Do the Hizzies like living in rubble? I'm beginning to wonder....."
An analyst on Fox just said that Hizbollah doesn't care how much damage they sustain, nor how many fighters they lose. It's all for allah, you know. Basically, they are as crazy as the Jim Jones bunch or the Waco bunch.
Therefore, your question should really be put to the remaining Lebanese people.
No kidding.
"If the barbarians in the ME could stop Isreal they certainly would. They can't as they are too busy cashing their welfare checks and putting bombs on their kids."

My dad was a general in the Egyptian army. His comments are always so informative especially if they were related to a war that broke out. He had this to say about Lebanon:
This idiot Nasrallah. He is so funny. He keeps on issuing threats, he has no idea what he is talking about. What Israel is doing to him now is just gentle padding on the shoulders. Abou Shakha dah didn't see what we saw. Israel fought on 3 fronts in 1967 and it was hell. I was there, I saw it all. He has no tanks, no boats, he has nothing except a few toys he got from Iran and it seems abu shakha dah don't know that Israel confronted 3 of the most powerful armies in the region at the same time. If Israel wanted to brutally crush him it can do so in 1 hour.
*Abu Shakha dah literally means "this guy with the piss". We use this slang term to refer to a grown up whose capabilities is of a baby who wets himself.
This idiot Nasrallah...
Hello, I'm Valin and I'm a blogaholic. :-)
Hi Valin,
Have you seen this ?
The Sa'ar 5-class missile ship returned to the Ashdod port and was said to have sustained damage to its rear hull near the helicopter pad...
The C-802 missiles, a senior Military Intelligence officer said Saturday, were made in China but upgraded by Iran, which had made improvements to the radar-guided system and delivered it to Hizbullah.
Senior naval officers admitted Saturday night that they were taken completely by surprise by the missile attack, claiming that they did not know that Hizbullah possessed such advanced capabilities. The missile has a 100-kilometer range.
Officials confirmed that the anti-missile detection systems were not operating at the time of the attack since the navy was apparently unaware that Hizbullah had such capabilities...
