I guess Israel and the U.S. will be the ONLY people fighting in this big war that is coming? The rest of the world couldn't even find the nads to veto the U.N. resolution today.
Pretty sad and VERY scary

"NEVER assume the other party is rational, especially, when they talk and act crazy."
This is an extremely important point that needs to be reiterated again and again. Moralistic Westerners in the Judaeo-Christian tradition constantly assume that others are really "just like us" underneath the most obvious cultural differences, that someone like the Iranian fascist could not be aiming to start a region-wide conflagration. Similarly, complacent Euros assumed in the late '30s that Hitler hated war the way they did and would never want a WWII. IN FACT, Hitler loved the idea of setting Europe on fire (though he thought it would all go his way), could only achieve his demented aims through one or more major wars, and his occasional anti-war rhetoric was just propaganda for the gullible.

I imagine there are a LOT of briefings going on...over there. It's tough- they have to stay focused on the present mission...

CNN and FOX NEWs apparantly SAY these things verbally about "Iranian Guard". Freepers here reported them saying as much. From there, the story took off.
But neither of their two respective news websites, has anything about this, even now at 6:45 p.m. Eastern/3:45 p.m. Pacific.
Why the gap? Why the apparant hesitancy? Certainly there cannot be a nearly 90 minute gap between their Live TV on the one hand, and their News Websites on the other, with such a critical story that highly escalates--if true, the equation. These are the questions I ask.

Iran is prodding this conflict with Israel, while China is prodding the North Korea conflict.

2 million Israelis have been ordered to shelters....although, I think a lot of homes have them.

Persians really don't give a crap about Arabs and are concerned about the regime's support of Arab causes. When the Persian people find out that Iranians fired those rockets they will confront the regime about this policy which puts Iranians in the cross-hairs.

"This thread is only an embarrassment to you apparently. We here are reporting on what is being SAID on Fox news."No one is arguing that Fox did or did not claim that Iranians shot the missile...
...But Israel isn't denouncing Iran. Israel isn't nuking Iran. Fox News has no story on their website about an Iranian attack, either. Go to the Fox and CNN web sites. There's no Iranian missile attack story...and that would be BIG news.
So I'm not embarassed.
Those who took the initial rumor as fact, however, will be more and more embarassed as time passes.

At what point did I suggest that the Iranian's are not supporting Hizbullah? How on earth would they end up with Iranian long range weapons in Lebanon otherwise?
The question is who fired it, not whether Hizbullah are being supported by Iran or Syria, that goes without saying.

Shall I believe my own lying ears, or should I listen to your naysaying?
I'll believe what I heard until it has been verified as false. Until then, I believe what I heard, which was the statement that the Haifa missile was launched by the Iranian Guard.
What makes your disbelief of what I heard any more credible than what I heard on Fox News?
