After a woman was killed in the northern city of Nahariya Thursday morning from a direct hit of a Katyusha rocket, the rockets arrived at Safed in the afternoon, claiming a heavy price.
Rocket barrages hit the northern communities throughout the day, and residents were called to enter shelters and security rooms. In
the afternoon, a heavy barrage hit the city of Safed. One of the residents suffered a head injury and his condition was defined as critical. Another two residents were lightly injured by shrapnel.
The Jewish Agency reported that Katyusha rockets hit an absorption center in the city, lightly injuring a new immigrant from Ethiopia. The Village of Majdal Krum was also hit, and one of its residents was moderately injured. Loud blasts were heard in the city of Karmiel, which is 21 kilometers (13 miles) away from the border.
My Hebrew is too rusty to make it out beyond eyem ( third & fifth from left )-- that class I took was 20 years back, and even so, I had to find my old notes. Perhaps some kind soul will interpret it for us.
Not that the press would care... but we should let them know what Safed means to Israel... G-d forbid they aim for Tiberias next... if no condemnation... they will, religious importance or not. They will so pay for this... and wish they were never born. If it were the other way around... fuhggetaboutit.
