There is a market rumor going around that Fidel Castro has died. Any confirmation in the media?

What a great birthday present that would be! I'd prefer bin Laden being killed or caught but I'll take Castro being dead.

No Karl is saving Bin Laden for Election day. He has him tied up in the basement of Dick Cheney's vacation house.
I read it on DU.

I hope "el jefe" died of lead poisoning. Well, I just hope he in fact did assume room temperature.

It would be nice to be able to get Cuban cigars without having to take a Carribean cruise.

As Cuban President Fidel Castro prepares to celebrate his 80th birthday, the Government of the United States is spending up on a birthday gift the longstanding leader won't appreciate.
President George W. Bush has approved a $110-million program aimed at bolstering anti-Castro activists in Cuba and moving the country towards democracy.

Well unless he died in Aruba, we're not going to hear about it on Fox News right away.
