London, July 5. (PTI): A "significant minority" of British Muslims believe that while the transit bombings last year were wrong, their perpetrators were motivated by a "just cause", according to a poll.
The Populus survey for The Times and ITV News has found that sixteen per cent of British Muslims, equivalent to more than 150,000 adults, believe that while the attacks were wrong, the cause was right.
Also, more than one in ten British Muslims think that the men who carried out the London bombings of 7/7 should be regarded as "martyrs".
Thirteen per cent of British Muslims think that the four men who carried out the London Tube and bus bombings of July 7, 2005, should be regarded as "martyrs".
But the poll also revealed a stark gulf between this group and the majority of British Muslims, who want the Government to take tougher measures against extremists within their community.
More than half (56 per cent) believe that the Government has failed to combat extremism, a higher proportion than the 49 per cent of the general population who agree.
Nearly half (49 per cent) of Britain's 1.6 million Muslims also think it acceptable for the authorities to monitor what is being preached in mosques more closely.

If Iraq ,Palestine and Iran have proven anything it is that Muslims cannot be happy no matter where hey are. If they wexist they have to kill. Either each other or someone else. Sometimes their own family in honor kilings.
About half the Muslims in any country arent happy if you took a poll. Sunni's arent happy with Shiite, Shiite arent happy with Kurds, Bin Laden isnt happy with anyone and the Taliban arent happy either. They leave a country looking for peace and immediately attack the government of that country because they cant have Sharia law where they can kill each other.
Best thing is to stop worrying about making them happy and start worrying about how to stop thm from coming into your country and get rid of the ones you already have.

I don't think Muslims are terribly keen on the US either - you currently have at least 6m of them with new muslim immigration everyday. Have you closed your borders?

It is hard to answer that question,but in my neutral opinion it is "yes". basically Hindus are normally calm and plesant folks who wont get excited until they are "badly" provoked,incidentally that is the exact reason they were trampled upon by everyone who happened to come to india in the past.However due to the persistant provokation and atrocities against the community,it seems to have braced up to meet the new challenges at every strata including the one posed by a renowned muslim artist MF Hussain who depicted hindu gods nude,the issue raised no interest in india save a few nominal protests by some hindu groups.But Hussain's decision to exhibit the paintings in Britain was fought with tooth and nails by the members of hindu commmunity in the UK as a result the exhibition was called off.The issue [i]may[/i] point out to the growing resentment among the hindus against the muslims.
