A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

How easy it is to be critical of the sins of others.How true that is. I listened to a most excellent sermon by Alistair Begg on this very topic yesterday on Christian radio. It is available on-line at Truth For Life! As Jesus said, "First remove the plank from your own eye, then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's."
On Noah, the Preacher of Righteousness: as in Abraham, all that Noah did stemmed from faith and I am so grateful that all the Scriptures quoted in the devotion you posted include that truth. When I consider the faith of Noah as it was tested through all those days while building an ark in an arid land and being persecuted for it, and all those nights afterward waiting on God inside the darkness, looking for the smallest sign of new life.... Trying to calculate Noah's faith is like trying to tally up the number of the stars.
May we be found Faithful as Noah - inside the Ark not made with hands, that is Christ, our Deliverer from the wrath to come, amen. It is this confession that is the Straight Way!

What a sweet little lady your Gram is, and a nice looking family you have, Rus. Thanks again for sharing part of your family with us.
