As we celebrate the 230th birthday of the United States of America, our president joined the ideological, and perhaps biological, descendants of those who fought to give us our freedom by creating this new nation. The president went to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, to speak to and eat with the troops and their families (who gave him a birthday cake).
He will return to the White House for a July 4th celebration with family and friends. That will also serve as a birthday party for the President.

You got that right! Also, he show them up and they get a guilty conscience. They like a blatant sinner better. Then they can argue that everybody dles it. Fill in your favorite sin. Drugs, rape, theft, campaign fraud, corruption.

***Do you think I'm going to need to turn my mommy pin in? LOL!***
You done good, Mom. It's so much easier to say, "Yes," but it takes a lot more love to say, "NO," and to stick with it.

Hi Snugs. I think I won the toaster yesterday. I LOVE the picture of our President with his tie flying over his shoulder and his hands in his pockets. If you have the time, I wouldn't mind seeing it again :-))

It is because darkness has no fellowship with light. And this president walks in the light, he is filled with the Light of the world, and they hate it.Gretchen, this gave me goosebumps. What an astute comment. Excellent point.

it is super fun to see them being the same 'mean' parents...More than once I've had them say "NOW I understand, Mom." What a beautiful way of putting it. You raised them right!
On a lighter note, my sister gave my parents enough heartaches for the both of us (I was the [mostly] good one because I was such a chicken but I digress). The first time I heard my sister tell her daughter "because I said so" I thought I'd spit my teeth out! lol
