Bin Laden Says Will Take Fight to America
(Full Story)

Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden said his group reserved the right to fight the United States on its land and warned Washington and the world community against sending forces to Somalia, according to an Internet audio tape.

"We will fight its (U.S.) soldiers on the land of Somalia ... and we reserve the right to punish it on its land and anywhere possible," said the speaker, who sounded like the Saudi-born militant.

"We warn all of the countries in the world not to respond to America by sending international troops to Somalia," he said of the African nation where Islamists' power is rising.

Terrorism: Hezbollah Poised For Attacks Abroad Say German Secret Services

Rome, 25 July (AKI) - 'Sleeper' cells belonging to militant Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah are present in Western Europe, Latin America and in southeast Asia and been ordered to be ready to carry out terrorist attacks should Israel prolong its military offensive against Lebanon, according to unnamed German intelligence sources.

Jihad to stay in Pak schools

Islamabad, July 25: The Pakistan government has decided that jihad will continue to feature in its curricula for schoolchildren. Education minister Lieutenant General (retired) Javed Ashraf Qazi, a former chief of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), said jihad is an integral part of Islamic teachings and beliefs and would not be taken off the curricula, which is currently being reviewed. “Jihad has many dimensions, which also includes self-negation, and we will teach students the full concept of jihad,” he told reporters during a briefing on the draft of the new curricula for Classes I to XII.

Israel says killed senior Hizbollah commander

Jul 25, 2006 — JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli troops on Tuesday killed a senior Hizbollah commander in fighting near the Lebanese border, the army said.

The army identified the man as Abu Jaafar and said he was the commander of Hizbollah's "central sector" on the Lebanese border with Israel.

The army said he was killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli troops near the Lebanese border village of Maroun al-Ras.

I would be the last to say that someone should take away Al Gore’s right to play weather hawk in a world that cries out for war hawks; however, I am hopeful that people will see behind the smoke and mirrors of An Inconvenient Truth and focus their attention on the survival of this country. Al Gore has given this weak worn-out planet less than 10 years before it is completely terminal (Will, 2005). Very conveniently this would give just enough time for the American people to place Gore into the white house and allow his visionary intellect and magical skill to reverse the sins of man through the power of the presidency. Will we see another Gore ticket for president? It is most certain that he will not conjure up another joint effort with Senator Joe Lieberman. Lieberman, the Senator from Connecticut, is currently a pariah in the Democratic Party for his strong stand on the War on Terror. Sorry Joe, you just don’t have the right set of priorities.

In the end, the level of public acceptance for Gore’s global warming quest may have a direct impact on a potential 2008 presidential bid. If this turns out to be true, the American people have the unique opportunity to strike two blows for “sanity” in one fell swoop. So as the enemy’s missiles fly near our allies in Japan, and fall on the homes of Israel, I ask you where should our priorities be? As terrorist plots are uncovered on a regular basis on U.S. soil, where will we focus our efforts for the future? Will we unite to fight the immediate threat of terrorism, or shall we allow ourselves to continue to be mesmerized by Al Gore’s magic show, when we truly know what is happening behind the curtain."
