Editor's note: On the evening of July 17, 1996, at 8:19 p.m., TWA Flight 800, a Boeing 747, took off from Kennedy Airport, bound for Paris. At 8:31 p.m., over 730 people watched Flight 800 explode, killing all 230 of the people aboard.

Not long afterwards, millions of Americans watched their televisions in fascinated horror as search and rescue crews looked for survivors among the flaming debris. Only dead bodies were recovered.

Flight 800 is mostly an ugly memory for people these days. The U.S. government issued an explanation that a fuel tank had somehow exploded. Yet, they flatly denied any evidence existed of foul play, including the possibility that Flight 800 had been blown out of the air by a missile.

All but a few journalists accepted the government's version of events. Few bothered to investigate the numerous eyewitnesses, the radar records and the physical evidence that all suggested a strikingly different explanation of Flight 800's untimely demise. And those few who did question the government's version were made to look like fools or, worse, thrown in jail and prosecuted as criminals for meddling in an official investigation.

Looking at a the radar graphic ,http://twa800.com/images/plots.pdf,

We see a linear, steady decay in speed from position markers 0 to 4, or about 20 seconds. At position 5, its ground speed has dropped to 110kts.

Would the Clinton/Reno sapsuckers out there please explain to me why the 747 doesn't show a vertical ascent profile (12,000FPM) nearer the explosion coordinate (0), like we see at position 5(), on the color graphic???

Dot "0" is the last transponder "hit", nose is gone between "0" and "1", I expected to see a serious reduction in airspeed, relecting the 12,000FPM climb and slowdown, trading speed for at least 2 to 3000 feet of altitude.

If the witness saw a 747 ascending like a missile, then why is there no record of it in the radar composite? Additionally, explain why all the trouble to LIE about TWA800's performance? Isn't THAT a kick in the face to the excellent production family that made the 747?

The dedicated pilots and crew?

The still greiving survivors, who have to deal with this lie, like salt in a wound, reopened when more lies are exposed by patriots donating their OWN time and money to get to the bottom of this cancer infected scandal.

In my opinion, the whole missile theory is a straw man. It doesn't matter where it exploded.

Then it got there without leaving a trace, and it exploded without leaving a trace. You realize the center wing tank is actually divided into 4 separate chambers by aluminum "walls". Almost all of it was recovered. None of it showed evidence of a warhead detonation.

You said the tape was played repeatedly for half an hour. And does your local NBC affiliate only cover a small town? If so, how did they possibly win the bidding war for the tape described in the article you linked about the tape?

"Yep, you can believe that thousands of TV viewers, and hundreds of eyewitnesses spontaneously dreamed up a streak of light rising from the horizon before the explosion."

Where do you get your numbers?

"Yep, that's what I, and thousands of others saw on the tape. And its corroborated by hundreds of eyewitnesses."

Both groups of which are remarkably silent as there isn't evidence to support either of your claims.

Yes. Remember that the fuel tank only contained a very small amount of fuel and fuel vapor.

So, was the tape a minute long?

What is your source for your statement: "that huge fireball exploded no higher (and quite possibly much lower) than about 7500 feet."

DJ MacWoW included a link to an inaccurate news article about witnesses Faret & Wendell in his #883 and I provided him with their own report in my #885.in which they indicated that their own flight altitude was 8500 feet when the "huge red-orange" fireball ball exploded below them, that when they flew over to the smoke cloud it left - "we were at 7700 feet and were at the top edge of the cloud. The cloud center was at 7500 feet" - and there was nothing unusual in the sky above that altitude.

The NTSB's Exhibit 4-A includes airborne witnesses' altitude estimates of the huge fireball ranging from about 4000 feet to about 8000 feet.

As I recall there was also a report that a US satellite had detected the huge fireball explosion about a mile above the surface.

These weasles were playing a shell game...and still are, with the witnesses, the evidence, the totally unnecessary macabre mock-up at Calverton.

These maggots kept the damning evidence away from the light of day, and then DESTROYED IT!

The seat cushions, the first piece knocked off, #503, the pellets (all but 20) and who knows what WASN'T bought to the surface by the Navy seals, who gave up whistle blowing protection via Clinton's EO.

The recorders were altered, every thing was dicked with in the Clinton style, under the GUISE of national security and criminal investigation.

Are you to lazy to answer my questions re the zoom climb?

Between position "0" and "1" there should be another hit to reflect the trade-off in airspeed. Because of the ZOOM climb,(IF it occured) the plane traveled about half as far as the official composite shows.

The official composite shows a steady speed of 376 knots for 10 or more seconds AFTER the BLAST.

Flt800 needs to be much slower in the ground speed here if it is to comply with CLINTONOID/RENO's FUNKY aerodynamic rules.

The same source that all the actual witness data comes from. The 736 witness accounts originally gathered by the FBI and published in PDF format on the NTSB website. I know that "hundreds of witnesses observed a missile streaking toward TWA 800" is one of the most commonly used phrases on conspiracy sites everywhere, but nobody has any data to back it up. Including the sites that use it.

This is another BIG indication that a cover-up was underway, a little snippet of vinyl out of virtual pick-up truck load of the same stained material? Come on!!

They acted like he stole the black boxes, funny though, how NOTHING was said when THUG Kalstrom presented the flag (from the crash scene) to the little girl in the hospital.

Jeesh, Sanders was actually helping expose the crime, exactly what you would want in a normal world, right???

I don't refer to their questions as "conspiracy nonsense". I refer to the unsupported claims of conspiracy artists as "conspiracy nonsense".

The only part of the NTSB report that is theory, is the specific cause of the spark that triggered the explosion that Boeing agrees initiated in the CWT and started the whole event.

With all due respect, that makes no sense. While the NTSB can't find with certainty the specific cause of the spark in the CWT, NOBODY can find a single bit of evidence that a missile or bomb exploded in or anywhere near the aircraft. The NTSB, Boeing, ALPA and TWA are all in full agreement on that point. So in effect, you dismiss all their factually driven analysis and except a theory that has zero tangible evidence to support it.
