A number of readers have asked why I haven't weighed in on Ann Coulter, the harpy-racist-homophobe who hates liberals like a 4-year-old hates vegetables -- although the 4-year-old expresses his hatred in a more sophisticated manner.
How about this comment -- not from Coulter's book, but from her Web site: "Let's pause for a moment to observe that two facts are now universally accepted: Liberals are godless and Hillary [Clinton]'s husband is a rapist."
Somewhere, Stalin must be smiling. Coulter must really hate her country to make such an un-American statement. (Did she go to law school at the University of Unsubstantiated Allegations?)
As for Godless: the Church of Liberalism: I have a copy and I've thumbed through it, but I just can't bring myself to read Coulter's increasingly nutty diatribes.
But hey, I did love her in "Transamerica."

She gets that by default. All members of the White Christian party (per Howard Dean) are racist homophobes.
Fem boy is down to the race card, well he ought to just shush up and go back to his nice safe white neighborhood and STFU.
If he disagrees, perhaps he could apply his grey matter, and enlighten us as to why Ann is wrong.

Roeper is famous for two things: (1) being the incompetent replacement for the deceased Gene Siskel and (2) hilariously claiming, in true Goresque fashion, that he invented the blog.

How is this "un-American"? I don't see anything about the people in the World Trade Center being "little Eichmans". I don't see anything about how "President Clinton == Hitler". I don't see anything about how "Republicans are Nazis".
There IS a godless subculture that has risen in this country. Bill Clinton is a multiple accused rapist (with public accusers and evidence). These are statements of fact. A journalist who wishes to supress her exercise of free speech IS unAmerican.
And there is nothing unpatriotic about either of those statements either (but there are plenty of unpatriotic comments made by prominent liberals every day).
Don't worry. Gene Siskel may still be voting in Chicago...
