Lexington's school superintendent yesterday denied assertions that a first-grader was beaten up on a playground last month in retaliation for his father's campaign to stop the school from teaching his son about homosexuality. School officials, citing interviews with the children involved, said the fight actually started over where students would sit in the cafeteria and then spilled onto the playground. The student, the 7-year-old son of David Parker , who filed a federal lawsuit in April over the teaching of homosexuality in school, was punched several times during the May 17 fight. ``These were two first-graders having a child squabble on a playground," said Superintendent Paul Ash . ``Some adults are exploiting these children for political purposes." The playground fight ballooned into a School Department inquiry after a Waltham-based parents' group, MassResistance, alleged that a group of children pounced on the boy on the two-year anniversary of the legalization of gay marriage. According to school officials' investigation, one child hit Parker's son two to four times during recess, and the boy fell to his knees as about five students watched . A teacher's aide intervened. The child who hit Parker's son was sent to the assistant principal's office, where he wrote an apology and was denied recess for two days. Parker's son and the boy have since had a play date, Ash said. School officials contacted authorities, who declined to investigate, Ash said. Parker said he was unconvinced that the fight had nothing to do with the outcry. He said other students have talked to his son about the issue. Parker was arrested last year when he refused to leave Estabrook Elementary School without a guarantee that his child would not be exposed to teachings about homosexuality. In April, he filed a federal lawsuit over the issue.

And I've asked you to show us that link that YOU say is based on a press release put out by a "homo group" and you can't do it. Liar.
So yes. Let the flame war be over. Since you lost so miserably I'll just expect you to skulk away with your tail between your legs.
Parents received notice about the book bag at the beginning of the year and the date that it was scheduled to be sent home with their child. The bag's contents also were put on display at a back-to-school night earlier in the school year, she said, and parents are not required to have their child bring it home.
''The kids don't have to take them [the materials] home," she said. ''Parents can either opt out entirely or use whatever materials they want."

1.) A little boy was beaten up at school by several other children.
I deny that, given the story by the school backed up by the playground aids that it was a simple fight between two boys who are actually friends. But perhaps you or Parker (who also posts here) can name a few of these "bullies" and their families who promoted this attack?
3.) The little boy in question is the son of a man who is being attacked by the school district and local homo-promo groups for resisting the "gay" agenda.
He is the son of Parker. Not sure what attack by the school district you are referring to. Parker is the one who initiated the lawsuit.
We are left to infer whether these things are in any way related. The homo-promo group has gone to great lengths to make it appear the fight was unrelated to their conflicts with the boy's parents. I'm not so sure.
We don't need to infer anything before looking at all of the reports. Which homo-promo group has had anything to say that was not already stated by the police chief and the school and district administration?
You, on the other hand, have been 100% sure from the get-go, based completely on the spin offered by the homo community and their supporters. If that's what you call 'research', I think you need to go back to the drawing board.
And your "research" was what? At least a few of us looked at all of the articles and press releases before debunking this original story. You were taken in hook, line, and sinker, but only because that's what you wanted to believe. So much for research, huh?
I would say that here you mischaracterize Mr Parker's demands -his demands were simple -he requested the opt out that is law be made available to him and this demand only involved his children. Parents not government decide values taught thier children..
As much as you may not realize it anything homosexual is disordered and a majority of people do not want anything homosexual to be taught as normal to their children...
Discussing graphically specific sex acts is but one extreme aspect of all the aspects of homosexual disorder not to be discussed and normalized by educators unless parents allow it.
Good post.
I wonder which one of the now fully exposed liars on this thread is actually Parker? LOL

Just as you have an interest in reading and commenting about them. HMMMMMM.
An excellent point.
It's just as much of a non-sequitur as his observation, and equally meaningless.
LOL. Oh, I don't know if it's quite that meaningless. It gave me a good chuckle.
No, you are incorrect. The school assured Parker that no sexual instruction of any type would take place in the early years. He wanted more, and wanted assurances that any discussion that included same sex anything not take place until he was notified. The school said that was impossible because someone might ask a question about one of the books, or ask a question on the playground. No school could agree to that.
And again no, parents do not have the ability to opt out of every single thing a school presents. His lawsuit is now centered on formal instruction, which the school had already agreed to.
As much as you may not realize it anything homosexual is disordered and a majority of people do not want anything homosexual to be taught as normal to their children...
kinda funny then that Parker left his son in the school for the second straight year, now isn't it? Sure hope the poor child isn't damaged for life....

I agree totally with that.
Deny it all you wish; however...
But perhaps you or Parker (who also posts here) can name a few of these "bullies" and their families who promoted this attack?
Diversion?
As much as you would like to imply Mr. Parker's son was not led to a secluded area by others -it happened. As much as you would like to imply the beating did not happen -it did. Even if refering to what I consider to be the biased investigative report from the School administration puiblished by the Superintendent one can see it did in fact happen:
PRESS RELEASE: June 16, 2006On May 17, several first graders were involved in a disagreement over who would sit where in the cafeteria. As a result, upon going outside one child took another by the hand and brought him to a third student in an area of the playground that is somewhat difficult for the adults to see. (The student who was hit said that he went willingly.) All children who saw agreed that the third student then hit the student who had been brought to him two to four times in the chest/abdomen (childrens accounts vary) and he fell to his knees. The student who was hit says he was hit when down; the other children say he wasnt. One child reports that one student held the arm of the student who was hit; however, the child who was hit and the other children did not report this. The children involved named five children who were nearby watching but not directly involved. Several other students were close enough to see a cluster of students but not close enough to see what was happening. The student who did the hitting suggested that others also hit, but none of them did so.
The rest of your posting contained nothing relevant -as such nothing to refute or debunk from a conservative perspective...
Just showing you how silly your statement looked. ;)
NO -you are incorrect -David Parkers specific demands are clearly laid out and detailed in his lawsuit. IF his demands were met the lawsuit would necessarily go away. You can read all the detail here: (copy provided by local the homosexual activist group opposing David Parker)...

kinda funny then that Parker left his son in the school for the second straight year, now isn't it? Sure hope the poor child isn't damaged for life....
Actually the only thing funny is the insistence upon ascribing to what are objectively unknown motives something illegitimate when clearly what is known entails a legitimate cause, that of opposing the homosexual agenda...
I can understand that, yes. A reporter's background can matter when it comes to the reporting of a story, and I concede the point in your example.
What I "get", mostly, is the urge for a very hot shower with a great deal of soap and a scrub brush, when you call me "dear" (shuddering).
Yes, when the charge is that 8 to 10 boys abducted and assaulted a seven year old boy because his father has filed a lawsuit, it wouldn't hurt to name one or two. I can just see the police investigation now. "Mr. Parker, you say 8 to 10 boys dragged your son behind the school and administered a beating?" "Yes, that's correct". Mr. Parker, can you name any of the attackers?" "Officer, what kind of a question is that? You're just creating a diversion." And DB, You're serious, aren't you?
Even if refering to what I consider to be the biased investigative report from the School administration puiblished by the Superintendent one can see it did in fact happen:
Please point out to me in the press release where 8 to 10 boys dragged the Parker boy behind the school and beat him in his chest, stomach and genitals and kicked him when he was down, planned well in advance, encouraged by the parents who were out to get even with Parker for his lawsuit. I must have missed that, but it is encouraging to note that even you no longer believe that crap. But I'll give you credit for attempting to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
