They had to put one Republican on the list to make it "fair and balanced".

The member of Congress who most seeks publicity for himself on gun-control issues.

He's the member of Congress who most seeks publicity for himself, period.

No one else is even in his league.

Schumer, like most urban liberals in the NYC area, just wants to keep "minority thugs" unarmed. They would never think of arming themselves, as they are totally dependent on the police to protect themselves. Urban liberals (and, sad to say, most Manhattanites and Brooklynites of any stripe) don't have the balls to protect themselves.

Hmmm.... Chafee didn't even make the list? Hell his daddy and Dennis DeConcini were two of the biggest gun-grabbing senators ever. DeConcini got busted in the "Keating Five" scandal...

New York, Massachusetts, and California--the liberal, smelly, hairy, unwashed armpits of the nation.

I don't know DeWine but I would find it hard to not include Sen. Mickulski ahead of him.

"8. John Kerry (D.-Mass.) Accepted a shotgun as a campaign gift from union officials, even though it would have been banned under a bill he cosponsored. "

During the campaign Kerry claimed to be a true gun aficionado that loved gun sports and hunting, and was part of the "gun culture".

During the campaign it came out he owned a unfired war relic and a shotgun.

Doesn't it seem that a billionaire who in the year before the election owned 6 estates around the country and overseas would own a virtual arsenal?

It seems he would own multiple hunting, skeet shooting, birding shotguns and target pistol sets for at least one or two of his estates, for guests and personal use.

Can you imagine visiting your billionaire hunting Buddie's estate in Montana and finding out he has no sporting guns of any sort (unless the butler brought his one personal all purpose shotgun)?

7. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D.-N.Y.) Though just in her first term as an elected official, she campaigned for gun control while First Lady, advocating gun owner licensing, handgun registration and the retention by the federal government of records on lawful purchasers of firearms.

The scary part is........

Rudy makes her look moderate on gun issues, he is an even bigger opponent of the 2nd amendment.

You know your a liberal on an issue when Hillary Clinton is to your right on something.

And yet so many Freepers like Rudy.

He's the member of Congress who most seeks publicity for himself, period.

Do you remember when Jon Corzine made a crack comparing Schumer to a monkey who "throws his feces" when he doesn't get attention.

Schumers response was priceless, its the only time I have ever seen him in front of a camera, speechless and just stunned.

New York, Massachusetts, and California--the liberal, smelly, hairy, unwashed armpits of the nation.

This coming from the tiny leftist state of WASHINGTON????? As liberal, smelly, unwashed, and hairy as they come.

We haven't had any left-wing anarchist riots in California that I can recall.

LOL! I wish I had that cached.

Q: What's the most dangerous spot in Washington DC?

A: The space between Chuck Schumer and a camera.

Q: What is Chuck Schumer's favorite thing to have for breakfast?

A: A press conference.

It would be sweet if we swapped out crusty ol' #7 for John Spencer.

As a candidate and public servant, Spencer has been proud to run and win with the Conservative Party of New York’s endorsement. John Spencer has always clearly and unashamedly taken a principled stand for his pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-growth, pro-2nd amendment, and anti-illegal immigration positions. As our candidate for the U.S. Senate, Spencer will provide a clear contrast to Senator Clinton’s views. If we nominate a Republican who agrees with Senator Clinton on these issues, we are destined to lose.

I'm backing Spencer, I don't think he will win in New York, or batter her, but he could open up some wounds that can be used against her.

Its no secret that alot of other dems who want to run for prez are looking to see if he can find weaknesses in her that they can exploit in the dem primary.
