Or maybe he just figured he didn't care what happened after he died.

Maybe he thought the way hitler did. If he was to die, they could all die.

"Is it just for laptops?"

No, it should go into any USB port without difficulty. Wouldn't be on the keyboard for desktop PCs, it would be a small slot (usually 2 or 4 slots) on the back of the PC tower or box. In the last couple of years just about all the PC towers I have seen (Dell, etc.) also have one USB port on the front center, down near the bottom, for easy access with devices such as the thumbdrives (it can be a pain to try to get behind the PC tower all the time if it's under a desk, etc.).

One of its suggestions for redressing the balance was to encourage hostility between the US and Iran

Who'd a thought zarky and I agree on something. Can we start bombing Iran tomorrow? Actually Zarky didn't think this one through. Lets see if we bomb Iran it would halt their nuclear production and we could capture many Al Queda they have been harboring since 9/11 like Bin Laden's son and heir apparent. Plus we get the added bonus of Iran sending less bombs and "insurgents" into Iraq. Sounds like a great scenario for us.

If it wasn't for the liberal news media trying to lose the propoganda war for us that is.....

Apparently the terrorists are being captured, killed or run off.
They can run but they'll only die tired. ;-)

"I looked on my keyboard and there's no slot for it to go into"

It's right next to the "any" key.

I get the distinct impression some bio or chemical are about to be un-sanded real soon.

Al Qaeda is like the Democrats.... where's the doom and gloom today? Be The Worst You Can Be. No wonder they're having reverses and setbacks in Iraq. Its a nightmare and now Zarqawi is dead too boot. This wasn't the way they imagined things progressing - the last American is not going to depart from Iraq via the last helicopter from a Baghdad rooftop. Oh the horror!

Thank you. I can see why people would want one of those. Put information on it for business or whatever and just bring the thumb drive with you. What will they think of next....

"It is time to decorate some utility poles in Iraq with terrorists."

They'll end up setting the captured terrorists free, as they always do. That's why they should take no prisoners.

I don't think we will get to Iran from there. An elected government threatens them far more. They are cornered. That is the reason for the fig leaf from Condie with the U-238 enrichment issue. Iran will make it's own decisions.

Don't you think good old Ahmed in Tehran is getting a message that it is time to keep his big mouth silent?

Given Zarqawi's fate, it must be this version:

THUMBDRIVE ZAP

I don't have a need for one that I can see. But, I bet my daughter would sure like one to put all kinds of nursing information on. I think I'll ask her tomorrow if she would like to have one.

I went to your link, thanks. I am amazed at the 'typical application' for a thumb drive. That is just fantastic technology. It's so small. Amazing.

Al Qaeda facing destruction??? Oh no, there might not be time for the DNC to find another candidate to back before we wipe out the last jihadist. They will end up like back in NJ when Torricelli was stuck on the ticket for that whole weekend before they could violation the state constitution and replace him on the ballot.
