I don't have a need for one that I can see. But, I bet my daughter would sure like one to put all kinds of nursing information on. I think I'll ask her tomorrow if she would like to have one.

Thumb drives are typically used for moving data from one PC to another. For example, if you have photos you want to bring with you to a family party, or whatever. They'll work on any PC so, should the host have a PC you can use the drive to do a photo display using his computer.

Think "backup". Think "fire." I haven't practiced what I'm preaching here, but you should have scans of all your important documents (insurance, mortgage papers, birth & marriage certificates) on it. Family photos too. In an evacuation situation, pull it out & throw it in the Go bag.

I think I'll make that MY next project. I've been waiting till I get A Round Tuit.
