Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the fire is being investigated as an arson -- but not as a hate crime. It will be interesting to see where the investigation leads...

What if the fire turns out to have been caused by a homeless family camping in the stacks and trying to heat their soup? Whose victim status is the trump?

Spontaneous combustion, no doubt, what with being packed so tightly in and and all the massage oil. Pouff!

Maybe it started by spontaneous combustion due to friction of books rubbing against each other??

The genuine conservative reaction should be the same as it was for the NJ Dims who wanted to ban Coulter's book.
Freedom of speech covers everybody or it's a meaningless joke.

At Pacifica radio, when the leftists wanted more political talk on the radio and less music, the music library mysteriously caught fire several times.

I dont think my Library has a gay and lesbian section.
What would I look for it under?
Fictional love stories?
Non Fiction Humor?
Next to Dr. Doolittle under Love stories about a Lickalottapuss.

Hate crime? Against the library? Good luck making that case...unless - wait - was the library painted pink, by any chance? Ah, HAH!

Even the BOOKS are gay now? Sorry, I know some books will say, "Now, now, folks, we're all adult books, here," but I really can't fathom books having sex. I didn't know they had the parts!
Although I did hear of one book having a terrible mishap... He had just gone to the doctors' to have his appendix removed...

"the fire is being investigated as an arson -- but not as a hate crime"
So now it's possible to commit a hate crime against inanimate objects? Am I understanding this correctly?

Probably a huge Vaseline spill cause by those who frequent the section. That stuff can be flammable.
