It is easy to come to the conclusion that the kind of people who print this sort of garbage want nothing more then a violent reaction from those they have so badly offended and enraged. If and when they get this response they can then smile smugly and say "See, I told you so"

The correct response IMO is for all enraged individuals to acknowledge the right to free speech, which the Marines they have trashed have died to protect through the years, and then exercise their own freedom of choice and refuse to purchase the newspaper, refuse to patronize any of the businesses who advertise in the paper and finally contact the advertisers and inform them of your decision to no longer buy their product until an apology is printed on the front page above the fold.

I am a writer for The Evening Bulletin, Front Page Magazine, and several other newspapers and magazines.

Recently I wrote a piece about Haditha for the Bulletin in which I mentioned the holier-than-thou hypocrisy of some journalists about Haditha. This would seem to me to be the paradigm of such sanctimony.
