Some Democrats, breaking ranks from their leadership, today said the death of terrorist leader Abu Musab Zarqawi in Iraq was a stunt to divert attention from an unpopular and hopeless war.
"This is just to cover Bush's [rear] so he doesn't have to answer" for Iraqi civilians being killed by the U.S. military and his own sagging poll numbers, said Rep. Pete Stark, California Democrat. "Iraq is still a mess -- get out."

Some of the definitions of "stunt" found at Merriam-Webster online:
: to hinder the normal growth, development, or progress of
: an unusual or difficult feat requiring great skill or daring
So yeah, I guess you could say it was a stunt.

The Democrats are sooooo much easier to defeat when they reveal their true colors to the American people.

No need to worry. The slavering morons in the Democrat Party won't tell this Marxist freak to shut his mouth.
No. Never. And that's good news. We need the traitorous swine to keep spewing.

Didn't Congress force a vote for immediate withdrawl from Iraq last year??I think only one or two people voted for it.

How dare you infer that .30 calibre is the only way into the muslim mind. .45 was designed for this specific purpose. I made no such limiting statement in favor of the .30 caliber. ;-) In fact, if you look really closely, you'll see that is a picture of the new 6.8mm cartridge, developed to better whack the Taliban (and field-tested in Afghanistan, IIRC). It'd be an improvement over the 5.56mm, for sure (but I'm sure that fielding a new caliber would be too expensive and logistically challenging).
And yes, I'm aware of the history of the .45 ACP. Now that the Mohammedans have gotten their hands on a bunch of Kalashnikovs, I'd prefer something with a longer reach.
But either will do, properly applied. As will a big ol' honkin' aerial bomb.

But yet President Bush is the "stupidest" president we've ever had.
They're all over the place.

Where were these guys during WWII when Hitler and Tojo really needed friends in the US Congress to help their war effort against the US?

May be a stunt...But they can't prove it...And if it is a stunt, by golly it's a pretty good one... You should make that into your new tag line.

My trophy bride told me, I should market that picture as a non drug birth control method.
Several freepers informed me that they went to bed without eating last night after viewing that picture.
So we could have a two fer: A non drug birth control method and a weight reduction method.
