Iraqi PM: Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi Killed

BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

First, congratulations to the Iraqi people. A psychotic mass murder, probably responsible for the assassination of Grand Ayatollah al-Hakim and the pilgrims at Najaf, plus thousands of other innocent other Iraqis, is dead. He will burn for eternity in a deserved Hell. It is a shame that while alive, there were those who did not condemn him utterly because of their opposition to this war.

Second, congratulations to the Government for finally putting together a Cabinet. This is what the Iraqis as a people have been waiting for, and hopefully this will be a cabinet which will approach terrorism and lawlessness with the firm hand that the people demand.

However, there is another unanticipated development. With Zarqawi were the master hardrives of the AQ operation in Iraq. They are being analyzed as we speak by the National Security Agency. Z man could have information on those laptops which could lead to an unraveling of AQ financial, weapons, and personnel information across Iraq and the Middle East.

Bin Laden could have a catastrophe on his hands of major proportions, especially if financial information is on those laptops. CIA, MI-6, Iraqi State Security, the German Abwehr, the Mossad, the Russian FSB, everyone who is anyone will want access to what Zarqawi had on those laptops. Remember, Zarqawi was running agents all over the Middle East. He was attempting to build a rival franchise to UBL within the AQ organization. As such, he could have the names of thousands of major players with him.

It's not just him, it's what he had with him.

Some people do not realize the importance getting into the head of the enemy plays. Taking away his ability to fight by killing them is matched by the taking away of their will to fight by killing their military AND spiritual leader. The savages have sustained a truly HUGE loss and their frantic words to the effect it makes no difference and they will just appoint another leader is so much whistling past the grave yard. Armies and causes MUST have a strong leader who can motivate them.
