Iraqi PM: Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi Killed

BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

Okay smarty, tell me why Iraq is so important. Also why did the purpose of the Iraq war morph from finding WMD, to freeing the poor Iraqis from the big bad Saddam , to creating a democracy. Which is it? What is the reason for my son to die today? And if Bush really thought Saddam had WMD and would use them, why did he plant 100,000 GROUND troops in Iraq that would be sitting ducks for Saddam's WMD's. Apparently Bush was'nt worried about that.
