It's on ABC Late Night News Right Now
ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP) Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

MAy I make a humble suggestion that we stop referring to them as the DemocRAT Party. We should call them what they really are, the "SOCIALIST" Party.
They're praying that his followers will launch a big suicide attack later today so they can get back to reporting what they love.
Shot trying to escape? LOL!
I'm bugging out, too. Lots to do...
Gonna catch a bit of a nap first.
Poor Ramsey Clark lost out on another client.
We are supposed to get a look at Zarqawi's dead mug sometime in the next few hours. Allegedly, it is just a "head shot" of his dead head, with a turban on.
There is also video, but it's still iffy if that will be available to air. I got the impression it is *more* than a head shot.
Oh, sorry, never mind. Brangelina Jr. is now available. No more Iraqi photos - that's just for slo-news days. We have the $20 million baby to show!
I just dropped in over at DU and they have been in denial all morning calling the government liars. One guy even said to the rest of the thread "Don't worry this is a lie" Guess we know where they sympathies are. Another stated on the Zarqawi thread that he was thankful that the DU was a place where he could come to get away from the lies of the Government. So, I guess in short it is the government that is lying about Zarqawi and the DU is correct that he is thankfully still alive.
No, Pennsylvania. And believe me, we have our own share of peoblems...can you say Specter.
Thanks for posting that great article. They finally met their goal with this superb catch! Any news on whether they get to split the bounty money?
World Socialist Party.
Agree.
One more down.
This was all good news to me when I woke up about a half hour ago...you're right, though. By the end of the day, we'll be hearing "But why haven't we gotten Osama yet?"
They are now saying on wls an aide of zark turned him in, makes sense.
I wonder if Fred Phelps has the nads to protest Zarqawi's funeral in Iraq? We should send the crazy bastard over there with signs that say "Allah hates Al-Queda Fags"...hehe.
And now the report from the land of Oz
How convenient
Zarqawi dies after the Federal Marriage Amendment fails

1. I'm wondering why...
...it took a squadron of planes to kill him. It really makes me begin to question the truthfulness of such seminal drama-documentaries as 'Rambo' and 'Navy Seals'.

This is a dangerous moment for Bush
If the insurgency doesn't fold now, more
truth will begin to dawn on the unwashed.
It's not an Al Quaeda thing, this war.

Will Zarqawi's death raise Bush's poll numbers?
I certainly hope not!!! or at least I hope any raise is only temporary

Didn't leave much of that house standing, did they?
So he says.
He's alive in their hearts and minds.
They've sold their souls to Satan.
