The time will come to bring the troops home. We don't want to do it too early and have Iraq fail as a result. This could be disastrous on so many levels. Let's not have spent these last three years and some months for naught.

Thanks for the reports and for all you do. You are absolutely right about withdrawal. This news no doubt improved our position in the region, but the battle continues and the War still has many fronts...

It was tantamount to the Democrat statements each first Friday of the month when positive jobs reports come out. It's always "that's good news, but..." Senator Biden used the opportunity to provide a small congrats, when asked, but then went on to criticize everything else. Somewhere in courtesy lessons, politicians forget when to just stop talking...

....Looks like Somalia is the only "friendly" government ..

It is my understanding that Somalia has no governmnet. The fact there is no law is the reason AQ may be able to exist there.

I'm thinking the same thing kabar. The rats of today are so far removed from the party of Zell it's almost unbelievable.

Now listening to WLS, they just promoed an upcoming appearance by Ann Coulter, since I don't have to go to work "too" early today anyway.....

"Zarqawi was apparently injured at first... The Americans found him. They handed him over to the Iraqis and he later died of his injuries," ABC said.

I salute the professionalism of the soldiers. Had I found him, my first impulse would have been to shoot him in the kneecaps then strike him across the face and jaw with the butt of my rifle over and over saying, "Where's your f***ing Allah now, gobshite? DIE DIE DIE!"

Sorry, I'm just happy he's gotten his.

Regards, Ivan
