It's on ABC Late Night News Right Now
ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP) Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

AW=AlQuaeda
Osama bin Laden named Zarqawi as his deputy in Iraq after he pledged allegiance to the overall al Qaeda leader in October 2004. Bin Laden called him the prince of al Qaeda in Iraq.
The most feared leader of the Sunni Arab insurgency, Zarqawi has inspired an apparently endless supply of militants from across the Arab world to blow themselves up in suicide missions killing thousands of people in Iraq.
His methods became so brutal that bin Laden's deputy is reported to have told him they were hurting the image of al Qaeda, seen as one of the most ruthless militant organisations in the world.
Zarqawi, in his late 30s, was believed to have personally taken part in the 2004 beheading of an American hostage in a video broadcast on an Arabic television channel.

I congratulate the troops on this remarkable achievement GWB just now on t.v.
They are the BEST! They represent the best of America and we'll never forget them.
OMG, Pres talking about the beheadings....made me remember Nick Berg.
Hell has a new resident.
***
Yes, last night, this man's many crimes against mankind were listed. Astonishing how much evil he had perpetuated on everyone. Well, now he will be judged.
Did you see the thread about Nick Berg's dad?.....sick!!1
Heh heh, party on guys!
This is great... to see them celebrating in the streets again. His death may prevent Iraq from slipping into civil war. Hopefully the Iraqis who want freedom will now stand a little taller and shout a little louder.
LOL - the terrorist formerly known as Prince
Now the DU moonbats calling into C-Span are screaming that the president is "the No. 1 terrorist."
LOL
I'm betting these lunatics take to the streets today and march. Let's look for a T-shirt by next week with a pix of Zarqawi looking skyward ala Che and eyeing 70 virgins.
"Bush: they call him The Prince of AlQaeda in Iraq"
Tijeras Slim: "Now they call him the terrorist formerly known as Prince"
Nomination for quote of the day! LOL!!!
Bush is noting the new ministers of defense etc which was a BIG lacking item of the Iraq Government.
And, IIRC, the new Defense Minister is a Sunni.
THIS TIME IT'S TRUE!!!!
Bush says he'll meet with security team on Monday at Camp David to assess the way forward in Iraq. Iraqi official will join on Tues and teleconference with other iraqi officials. Will talk about how best now to deploy our forces in Iraq.
Pres asks for patience from the American people.
You know the DUmmies will be saying this happened a long time ago the the press and the President sat on the news in order to take attention away from Haditha.
God bless W and God bless our troops!
Oorah!
Bush out...
