It's on ABC Late Night News Right Now
ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP) Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

LOL
Depending on how the network is set up, we can do a lot of linking to other cells. This could unravel the whole AQ operation. In fact, we may even find an indisputable link between AQ and Saddam. That would blow the Dems out of the water.
Zarqawi killed in Iraq air raid
They never use the t-word and mention that attacks may get worse.
Interesting tidbit: Apparently there was enough left of the little sociopath for fingerprint and facial ID.
So he is Chief WH Correspondent?
I thought she may have mispoke--Good for him!!!
Right you are Ken... The Most Painful Elimination of the day! /MXC mode.
Yaaaay!
How nice to hear the reaction of our troops on the ground!
God Bless 'em as they move on to get OBL.
Thanks for the update, patriciaruth.
Cheers - Dinah
I also have homemade "sliders" - we got into a discussion here on FR a few weeks back about onion burgers, as in the best in the world being in Ardmore. One person here posted that and I replied that my favorite was in Ardmore, too!
And we were talking about two different hamburger places, "of all the gin joints in all the world." Turns out they shared a cook, tho. And this is not to be confused with J&W in Chickasha. This is Hamburger Inn in Ardmore, if you get by there.
Well, someone had a recipe for making White Castle "sliders" (little bitty burgers) at home. So I made some and really liked them - after I found some perfect little bitty burger buns - they're called "English biscuits" at my bakery, but they're not biscuits.
Anyway, they're little bitty 3-inch onion cheeseburgers with steamed buns and you keep them in the freezer. I was also looking all over for the Brockles Special Dressing I used to get at the grocery store, but from a restaurant in Dallas where everybody and their dog used to eat - a million years ago.
They had gone out of business and then finally quit making the wonderful dressing 5-6 years ago or more. Then I found it! It's made by BestMaid in Ft Worth and called "sandwich spread," but it's the exact same dressing. I'm in heaven. Have 4 jars of it now. It's not for hamburgers, altho some people might use it - sliders have ketchup and mustard both, which is also in Brockles. Anyway, Brockles just makes the best dips, especially Shrimp Dip.
LOL!
Excellent :) I love our President and I am so happy for him today because of this greatest of news.
You can hear the shrieks and wailing from the NY Times building all the way to the Hudson river.
YIPES!!!!!!!!
yes, Britt has done himself proud by becoming Chief White House reporter I saw it announced, late last week, by Brit Hume.
Per Mr. Mew from FNC: Zarqawi given up by his own guys possibly. And 43 to have some kind of appearance in 90 minutes.
"The rise in Bush's poll numbers should come quickly. I'm going to keep an eye on RasmussenReports.com where I expect to see the first evidence of movement. They've already been showing an upward tick."
Do not hold your breath for any polls in the next week or two. If any are done, expect heavy oversampling of democrats and "independents."

If they really have a laptop or Rolodex thingy, perhaps he was as stupid about intelligence as he was about shooting weapons and wrote it all down.
Could we get that lucky?
God bless our brave troops.
Crap - I was rhapsodizing about onionburgers and now these jerks have blown up 12 people in the market in Baghdad. I'll shut up now. RIP
Yeah, I pinged you about ten minutes into the thread, but it was the middle of the night for most folks (but second pot of morning coffee time for me).
