From Aljazeera...
Iraqi leader: Al-Zarqawi is eliminated
...He said the air strike was the result of intelligence reports provided to Iraqi security forces by residents in the area, and US forces acted on the information

I do hope that the " info " that earlier reports alluded to will result in more deaths/captures of the murderous thugs.
As we speak, our guys are probably working on the next strike.

"It will be intesting to see the reaction from the MSM and the Dems. We will probably hear some reluctant praise and then the "but" monkey. They will try to downplay the importance of Zarqawi and then raise the fact that we still haven't got OBL."

The arrest of 17 suspects, many of them teenagers, picked up in Mississauga and across the GTA during a counter-terrorism sweep on the weekend, is said to be the latest stage in dismantling a terrorist network that's linked to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq.

At the beginning of that last segment with Mike Boetcher, he said something like, "wait a minute, let me take this ear piece out." Then, as they were switching over to Ken Allard, you could hear Boetcher say something like, "Don't ever do that to me again!" He obviously was pissed at someone in the hook-up chain.

Can you keep us posted on the attitude of the Iraq people about this event?

I agree. If they do have deployable WMD's in the near future is when might see it. But this time the players movers and shakers are ahead of their decision loops (I hope).

"Aye, Starbuck; aye, it was Moby-Dick that dismasted me; Moby-Dick that brought me to this dead stump I stand on now. Aye, aye! I'll chase him round Good Hope, and round the Horn, and round the Norway Maelstrom, and round perdition's flames before I give him up.
